Anybody plan on doing this show on April 24th?

Hey Matthew,
I thought you looked familiar. I judged you at the Circle City in Indy two years ago. You looked INSANE!! You should seriously consider the Natural Buckeye Classic in Columbus the week before on April 17. It is a WNBF Rookie Pro-Qualifier and stacked with talent coming in this year. We have 7 states represented so far, but no one yet from Illinois. You have crazy potential and should set your sights on natural pro qualifiers.
Is that show on this year? I'm certainly not hating, but I know it was cancelled last year at the last minute. I would check with the promoter and see how things are shaping up.
Shoot me an email if you are interested in the Buckeye: rich@richbodyfit.com

I would love to but I don't think I'll be ready, April 24th is going to be pushing it but I'll see how I'm looking in a few weeks. I remember you from the show, you were promoting the Buckeye that year too. Thank you for the kind words and good luck with the show.

Seems like ages ago, haha. Yup, we were gearing up for our first year at that point. You ran away with the novice class and would have been in the mix in the open if you had done it. If you are on track for the kind of conditioning you brought then, then I think you could very EASILY do a show prior. You still have plenty of time. Many do a few to get warmed up and learn from show to show. Regardless, best wishes on your prep and hope you've had a good offseason!

I hope I can reach the same conditioning by then, it's going to be tough. I had planned on the Kentucky show being the first for the season with more to follow. I'm aiming to be leaner when I hit my target shows this year. I've only been dieting for 2 weeks so I feel like I'm still way off. Either way I appreciate the response Rich and may see you in April.

I don't start dieting until after tax season, or I would hit up one of these shows with ya!

The NGA Universe is sometime in November, but that haen't announced the exact date yet.
The Yorton Cup is late fall, and I'm looking at a couple of other shows possibly around that time period...maybe the NPC Natural Northern USAs in October...
