Has anyone heard of people getting enlarged prostates from dieting or a nutrient deficiency? I think that I may have an enlarged prostate. I feel like I have to pee all the time and not just when I really have to pee. After I go, I feel like I still have to go. It feels like I'm leaking or I have to hold it so that I don't have wet spot on my pants. This is a serious question. Again, this only happens when I'm starting to get really lean and during my contest prep. I've never experienced this while in the offseason.

It seems silly I know, but I would appreciate anyones info if they know anything about it.

I suggest you go to the doctor to check if it's anything serious!!

Sometimes, like every 2 weeks, I got to the toilet like every 5 mins for like 40 mins or something... Hardly happens but it happens... I'm not sure either mate..

Good luck and I hope you find out and it's nothing to be concerned about!

Id look more to your supps during those times. Are you adding anything that could effect it? Fat burners that may contain ephedra, or ephedrine? Any test boosters? etc. You could also try some saw palmetto, this lessens the dht exposure of the prostate I believe. Otherwise you can get it checked, enjoy the digital rectal exam, not pleasant.

For some odd reason I get a bit of urinary issues from yohimbine hcl, so I really use it sparingly, this could be more related to anxiety as that **** tightens me up everywhere, but I do think it could be supplement related more than anything.

Scooby, I took a yohimbe supp during my last prep and thats when I noticed it. Thanks, I think I have the problem pinpointed. I'll go back and check my supps to check and see which ones have yohimbe. I've been taking all Muscletech and I think the Cryotest has yohimbe. I'll look into it. Thanks, a ton. I feel much better now. I don't want a finger in my butt!!

Excellent advice as always, I'm impressed with how easily you were able to point that out!

Well I'm happy! I was starting to wonder if I was gonna have to have my prostate examined. Don't think that would've been that fun.

Im glad I could help. Check out that cryotest, if its a booster I suspect their could be other culprits. If you really like it during prep add saw palmetto to it and you should be fine.

The only thing that I know of that would cause those symptoms is the yohimbe. Here's what's in it:

Amount Per Serving:
CRYOTEST Proprietary Blend 2,491 mg:
L-carnitine fumarate - Epimedium brevicornum extract (aerial parts)
(standardized for 10% iicarin)
Serenoa repens (fruit) - Haematococcus pluvialis extract
N-acetyl l-carnitine - GABA (gamma-amino butyric acid)
Yohimbine HCI
- 3-methyl-1,2-cyclopentanedione (3-MCP)
Eucommia ulmoides extract (leaf) - Avena sativa extract (aerial parts)
Eucoma longifolia extract (root) - Ptychopetalum bark
Melatonin (n-acetyl 5-methoxytryptamine) - Panax quinquefolius extract (root)
(standardized for 5% ginsenosides)

Thanks again scooby. Let me know if you see anything that might cause some weird urinary issues.

Other Ingredients: GELATIN, CELLULOSE, CALCIUM CARBONATE, MAGNESIUM STEARATE, SILICA, TALC.
