I am so psyched about the upcoming season. Depending on finances I might compete as many as 10 times this year. Already set to do some Highland Games, 2 Strongman contests and at least 1 Highlander (mix of strongman and Highland Games). If the body stays in one piece I'm going to hit a 100% Raw PL meet at the end of the year and go for a Class II total, and am looking for an OL meet nearby. Totaly useless info, but I'm in psyched up mode right now.

Maine (1), Mass (1), Conneticut (2), New York (3), Vermont (2), and Pennsylvania (1). I don't think I'm going to be able to manage all of them, the driving and accommodations get expensive. Still if I can pull it off it would be so cool to be out there that much. No Scotland trip this year (need a new roof).

That's a Brett Underwood Games. I think they have Pro's Ams A & B there. There's a good pro field there. Kerry and Brock, and Craig Smith. I couldn't throw with them unless you added up three of my attemps and compared it with their one. All great guys. who knows maybe I'll go south some day. If you have a chance to, go to see those games. Those are great guys to watch and are VERY willing to talk with folks about what they do. Craig has been a big help with my training this year.

Me and the wife already planned on a trip to Glasgow this year for the games. It will be our first. Should be a lot of fun.

Great! Go and enjoy the games. You'll get a good idea of why I am so into this. Most of the big guys love to talk with people that are interested. Maybe you'll get the bug.

So honestly, how are you feeling about your upcoming season? :p
I keep reading your posts about doing Highland games (I'm of Scottish heritage) and I think those tests of strength are cool. I also remember the scene from Braveheart where Mel challenges his big friend to the rock throwing contest.
Anyways, I hope you have a good season and that your body holds up to all of the demands that you make of it. :D
