Thermophoria! Soon to be a household name in the fat burning market! But your gonna see the results right here first! That's right folks, you've got a front row ticket to the train wreck as it happens! WHOO WHOO!!

A little introduction here. I am 29, serving in the Army, and just a little over a year post op from a badly torn rotator cuff. I have only been lifting again since October 09. My lifts aren't big, but my stomach is. I am a straight shooter. Personally, I don't care if I hurt your feelings. If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.

I am currently in the Army L.P.N. program, so my days are full of anatomy and physiology, medications, and math. I freakin hate math. The gym is my relief.

I have been following The Starting Strength program since October, and am in the middle of a 2 week deload, slightly more volume, less weight. I will be transitioning back over to an intermediate type routine next week. My max lifts as of last week were as follows.

Squat: 345x2
Bench: 250x2
Deadlift: 345x2
Military Press 175x1

I train alone, no spotter, and of course I have to be very careful of my shoulder, so I try not to push to hard on bench and military press.

My current Supplement stack is:

Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey
Orange Triad
Mega Men
Creatine Monohydrate

I also have to do Army Physical Training in addition to lifting, class, and balancing a family life. I will try to post daily, but it may wind up only being on lifting days, or if I notice something exceptional.

Reps, if there is anything you'd like to see added, let me know, and I'll get it in there.

I will have measurements and pictures up this weekend. Not for the faint of heart.

Thank you.
I was actually told today by someone that they wouldn't want me for a nurse, said I was to big. Made me feel good. I did get the Thermophoria today, so I will start the first dose tomorrow. Believe tomorrow is chest day to. Next week I should be switching back to the three days per week whole body routine. I'm excited as hell!

You know, I could have sworn I posted an update last night. Guess I'll add last nights on with tonights.

Question for one of the reps. What is recommended for off days? Just take it whenever?

u can take your doses whenever u want on training or off days shouldn't make a difference , just use your prefference

Ah, so it was Jamies fault. If she keeps being naughty like that, I may have to spank her.

Any way, chest day (Thursday) was a good workout. I had a nice, clean energy. No shakes or anything, which I like.

Leg day (Friday) I nearly puked. It was that good of a workout. I have been feeling a little under the weather though, getting a nasty freakin cold. Looking forward to this coming week, when I go back to a 5x5 routine.

Started my 5x5 up today.
Now, I didn't feel that great, been sick most of the weekend, and felt like hammered dog crap today. I took my Thermaphoria about 30 minutes before I started lifting. Even though I felt terrible, I was able to go through the whole workout in a little under an hour. So far I'm digging this stuff. I also bought another bottle today, so I am thinking of running both bottles back to back.

I was thinking the same. It feels more like I'm recomping than cutting. Maintaining my body weight but losing fat at the same time! Feels good brah :D

Hell yes.
I train much better, and more, when I do a sponsored log. Between the publicity, and 'owing' the log to XYZ Pharma Tech Industries (lol), I'm in the gym and on point almost every day.

Well, remember when I said I wasn't feeling to well on Monday? I was ordered to go see the Dr. today. Good news is I'll be fine in a few days. Bad news is I have bronchitis and can't do anything for a few days. My apologies to EST, but I will be back at it as soon as I can.

Just a small update:

The antibiotics and other medications appear to be working, as I am feeling much better. I should be back in the gym on Monday, and we can get this rolling again.

Ever had one of those days in the gym, where you thought you were gonna puke? I love those. It was my first day back in the gym since last week. this is the longest I have gone without lifting since I started up again back in October.

My working sets for squats was 280, then I decided to have A.D.D. and fuch with the routine. Went straight to leg press.

408x12
608x10
608x10

For the rest of the time I was in the gym I thought I was gonna spew. It was great.

Went to chest next, for 205 as my working set.

Like I said, this was my first day back in the gym, and of course first day back on Thermaphoria. I felt great. Nice smooth energy, no sudden increases and crashes.

Also, we in the Army, if we are overweight, get taped. I weighed 241 the other day when we had our height weight done, with a 24 percent bodyfat. I know, needs improvement. But that is an improvement. In October when I started, I was 27 percent. The good news is that 24 percent is passing for me. The better news is that we are getting taped again in 4 weeks, so I will be able to compare an actual bodyfat test. No, it's not the greatest in the world, but it is effective.

When I was in the Army, I ended up working in the Training office in the HHC. As much as I hated PT tests, administering them was kinda fun.
But the tape tests always sucked. :(

Also, gonna revise the format a little on the next post. Actually start tracking the workouts in there entirety, maybe try to fit in my meals and such as well.

Sorry for lack of updates, school has been rough. We went from cardio to respiratory system, plus a presentation, paper, $#!t load of extra homework.

Highlights from the previous week include loss of 2 more pounds, strength is still slowly climbing. I did legs yesterday.

Working sets only.
Squats
295x6 3 sets

Leg Press
908x5 2 sets

Leg extensions
125x6 2 sets

Followed by abs.

Today was upper body

For bench, I do a set of 8 DB Flyes immediately before each set of presses. All warm up sets I go from bottom to half way up, all the way down, and then all the way up.

185x6 3 sets

Incline DB Press
45x10 3 sets

Deadlift
331x3

T-Bar Rows (Supported)
80x8 2 sets

This morning I finally added in cardio as well. Did 30 Minutes on the elliptical, H.I.I.T style, followed by a few sets of sit ups and hanging leg raises.

Another successful workout in the books!

Squats
185x10x3

Leg Press
768x10x3

Leg Extensions
140x12x3

Our next P.T. test is in a week or two, so we'll be getting the bodyfat done then, so we can compare.

Squats 298x6x3

Today is chest and back. Kinda worried my DL may suffer a bit. We did circuit training for p.t. about 30 minutes ago. Did alot of squats. Combine that with my squats and leg press from yesterday. May not be able to pull as much as I'd like.

I'll put the numbers up either tonight or tomorrow.

Left my training log in the class, so I wont have my numbers from yesterday until tomorrow. We did however get weighed and taped today.

Starting weight 241
Todays weight 235

We weren't weighed till after lunch, and I had a pretty good lunch. I'm talking a steak and cheese sandwich, steak fries, and a root beer.

Body fat down to 20% from 22%
My waist has gone down 3/4 of an inch.
