View Full Version : Approx. 43 g of carbs during keto...is this bad?

Hey everyone,
I've posted a few threads on here about my diet and i've been trying to tweek it a bit. Well I got my ratios a little better. As of right now its 53/40/7 with 43 grams of carbs approx.

Is this going to knock me out of ketosis with that many carbs? I can usually keep it to around 25-30. This is also with roughly 2300 cals thus far, and I usually will have another protein shake after my evening cardio which would be about another 110 cals and 2 g of carbs. Should I count this as my carb up day or am I still ok?

Also, I use fitday food journal to track my ratios. I'm sure it's not exact because a lot of things I just kind of guess how much it was that I ate, but it at the very least gives me an idea. (I'm a college student and don't know exaclty how much I'm taking in when I eat at the caf., I left my scale at home :(

If those carbs are mostly green veg, then no, you are fine.
