Im wondering if there is such a food that you can eat an unlimited amount of without compensating your diet for.... Other than iceberg lettuce and celery which have MINIMAL nutrient value to them, Im not sure if there is a "free" food that we can have. If anyone knows of any that would be great to know. Im not looking to overindulge in these but if one day I have eaten all of my calories and I am still a bit hungry I was wondering if there is any food I can eat without going too much over my daily limit.
Thanks

Veggies are a pretty decent bet if you don't plan to go crazy. Even though they are dense in nutrients with minimal cals they can wreck a deficit if you eat enough of them. Though I've yet to see that happen :)

I was told that green peppers, onions, and mushrooms were pretty fair game....

vegetables, no sauces or dips (obviously)
calorie free drinks like water, carbonated waters etc.

This is great to hear, but... do you suppose this will interfere with my macros? Would it take my carbs too high?

vegetables will probably NOT take your carbs too high. there's not a ton of anything except nutrients and water in non-starchy vegetables. the only advice i have is to allow a little wiggle room in cals so you can eat a larger amount of veggies.

Also, I will plug my number into my calculator before I eat it. It always helps me make a better choice. I shoot for a 40/40/20, somedays I land among the 40/30/30 and Im ok with that too.
*** Note: yesterday is the first day Ive almost hit the nail on the head 40.45/40.38/19.18

If you are worried about carbs you could consider eating Shirataki noodles, which also contain a minimal amount of calories.
Some info about them here:

They don't have much flavour on their own so you do have to add something to them but they are quite filling due to their high fibre content.

I find I always have to slather them in some kind of sauce to hide that funky fermented smell, which kind of defeats the purpose.

i used to eat a crapload of sugar free jello. A whole box is 40 calories and it's a lot of volume. I don't eat it too often now a days because my tummy gets upset with sugar alcohols and sweeteners. It's not 'free' per say but it's volume with little calories.
Shirataki noodles are horrible... sooo chewy and smelly lol
I'd stick with veggies... at least you are getting some vitamins with those!

I think pickles aren't bad for calories, just sodium intake :) Every now and then I get the urge at night to crunch on something and I grab one.

99% of veggies are fine to snack on all day. if you just want to beat hunger, you can trick yourself with altoids or other minty things.
