So I was wondering what to do in the pump up room before my first npc show. How many reps to do?, What excercises to do?, and how to know when I'm pumped up enough for the stage?. Any insight would be great. Thanks for any help/ tips.

Just keep the blood flowing pump[ and pump and pump dude the more blood you get in the muscle before you get on stage the better. it should be only about 15 to 20 mins.to get that done

Pushups are good as well as just tensing and flexing until you feel a decent pump and break a sweat. I use exercise bands and do a few sets of curls, triceps extensions and shoulder presses as well.

I think it really depends on how YOUR body reacts.
Anything that gives me a pump in the gym, I keep in mind for the next time I am pumping up backstage.
I get a huge pump off of wide grip chin ups. Gotta find a chin up bar in the pump room for that though.
Otherwise I like the rubber bands, pushups, and flexing while doing imaginary weighted lifts.
(think about concentrated curls, no dumbells, just flexing as I do the movement.) I do that for all bady parts but legs.
I start about 15 minutes before stage time, and stop about 2 minutes before stepping out.

A weird question to ask. One should know their own body.

Typically you won't hold your pump for too long, so don't start to early; 15-20 minutes is great! Don't pump your legs at all, spend most of your time on chest, shoulders, and arms. Bodyweight and band exercises are great! The key is to stay warm! Best wishes!
