Hey guys I took a little break from lifting and I'm back. I am a sophomore in High School. I played on the JV Team last year as a freshman. I will have to play JV again because I transferred schools. WIAA rules require me to take a year off of VARSITY.

I have been reading a lot lately on baseball training. I realize I really don't need to move heavy weight to be a great baseball player. So I'g to stick with all bodyweight exercises and core training.

Goals

1. A Perfect single Leg-squat
2. 10 DIPS
3. 10 Pull-ups
4. 50 perfect push-ups
5. Touch Rim

I know these may seem easy to some of you guys. But I can't do a pull-up, or a dip.

So my training is going to be all bodyweight exercises. My baseball goals are to gain velocity, speed, agility, conditioning, power, and athleticism.

I will do rotator cuff work everyday.

Sunday-

Legs-
Bulgarian Split Squats- 3x15 each leg
Air Squats- 3x15
Step-ups - 3x10 each leg
Lunges- 3x6 each leg
Jump Squats- 3x10

CORE
HIIT

Overall very good workout. I tried to be controlled on every movement instead or ruching it with bad form. I felt great on the HIIT. Nutrition was alright today. Will be a lot better tomorrow.

My nutrition will be very simple. I'll eat off instinct. Meat, nuts, PB, EGGS, OATS, fruits and veggies, and a couple other carb sources.

What position(s) do you play? Also, lower-body heavier lifting isn't really where the problems are at .... upperbody specifically bench press and overhead lifting are where problems occur.

What kind of rule is that that you CAN'T play varsity for one year because you transferred? That is the dumbest **** I've ever heard (not saying your lying). What if the person transferred to a school for their Senior season? They would have to play on the JV? lol

That does suck .... although transfers are different from actually moving ... I'm guessing thats just a rule for freshmen and sophmores to keep them from moving just to play up in sports.
