I like to get my carbs from oats, pasta, and BREAD. I make two sandwiches a day to use as small meals while I'm at work, and it occured to me that I may be able to make "healthier" bread in a breadmaker than I can buy at the store. Currently I use Sara Lee whole wheat, and its good stuff with solid nutritional value, but I'm wondering if I can make healthier, tastier bread at home. I remember my grandmother doing it when I was a kid and the stuff that came out of those breadmakers was to die for....
So anyone here use a breadmaker? Anyone have any sweet recipies for protein enhanced (or whatever) loaves?

Check out your local bakeries, when I was in college in Reno we had a great place called House of Bread that made specialty breads. They had a wide range from Ezekiel to Cranberry Lemon Bread. Place was awesome and I am sure you have something similar to you, just google it.
