Wow, what a show!
I did'nt do as well as i had hoped, but was very pleased with the package i brought to stage!
The athletes looked amazing! The stage was filled with some of the best natural bodybuilders in the sport eg. Clearence Mcgill.
Seeing these guys was eye opening. I have soo much work to do if i want to be amongst those great competitors.
I'm excited about having my first offseason, so that i can make the adjustments needed to go to the next level.
Cngrats to all those that were at the show, guys and girls! You all should be very proud. whether you did good or not. You bust your tail to for months and COMPETED!

Hey, very few of us do as well as we'd hoped in our first Worlds - myself included! It is a huge eye-opener for sure, but it sounds like you have a positive attitude towards your training and competing, so let that carry you forwards to that next level. You've identified what you need to do, and with that in mind, you can only improve. Congratulations to yourself, and good luck in the months ahead ;-)

Daniel - I have to tell you Cheryl did not compete in the 2009 Worlds but is a 3X World Champion. I think she was referring to her first Worlds where she did not do as well but when she came back, she won.

I hope i did'nt offend you by not knowing about your contest history. Nancy Andrews told me about your great accomplishments! I thought the Worlds was your first showing as it was mine. Anyway, congrats on your awesome achievements and thanks again, for the kind words of support.

Oh Daniel, you certainly didn't offend me at all! ;-)
I was just glad to be able to offer a few words of support and encouragement from my own experience. After the 2003 Worlds, I was pretty "down" about things, but many people, Nancy in particular, rallied round, I took into account what they were saying, did my homework, and luckily, it paid off.
When people are kind to me, I like to pass that kindness on to others if I at all can - a sort-of positive chain, if you will!
Many thanks for your kind words - now get off the idiot box and get to the gym!!! I want a big bear hug after next year's Worlds xxx
