I've had two infections in the last couple of months. The first on my right buttock, the second on the top of my left quad.
The second one was drained a week and a half ago and has responded well to the antibiotics... the infection has gone.... now I am just left with a hole in my leg which I have to pack every day.
I was just wondering, when do you think it'd be sensible to start working out again? Both times the infection didn't get into my bloodstream, it was just regular staph aureus.
I've been signed off work by the doctor so obvious they'll tell me I can't work out... but its not going to be detrimental to the hole in my leg healing, is it?
It's really pissing me off mentally having to take such a long break. It all started at the end of a planned 2 week break, so in total I've not worked out for about 10 weeks. It goes without saying all my christmas-goals will have totally gone out the window.
Any help from fellow staph sufferers would be much appreciated. I really need to get back into my routine.
