Hello guys,
I'm football player playing in a german amateur leauge.
I'm 20 years old and last year was my rookie year in our "adult team".
I played mostly TE and some slot in spread formations and had some decent games, but nothing special. (300 yards and 3 tds for the year.)

Next year, I wanna break out and therefore I think its time to move on from TE because I think my true potential lies in playing wideout. (my feet are quick and I'm too short)

I'm 6'0 and 211 , and my bodyfat is way too high.

Lifting stats: (all in lbs)
Bench: 1x275
Squat: 1x350
Deadlift: 1x375
Powerclean: 1x200

My goals until april (when our season starts):
Bodyweight: 185-190 lbs
Bench: 300
Squat n Deadlift: 400

I'm currently using Defrancos' Ws4sb III and some extra running (team activities)
Do you think this also a good program while I'm cutting?

I'll post my workouts day by day.
Nutrition and Pictures come soon.

Greets,
Magnus

Just did legs today.
Boxsquat up to 1x350
stepups 5x8x120
Rackpulls 3x8x320

Ab-Circuitx3

Workout notes:
The last squat was pretty easy, but I wasn't confident enough after my illness.
Next week I'll go for 360. But anyways, my legs are dead. guess this is a good sign.

My cutting diet sucks ... I'm studying at a small campus and the only f.... place around is McDonalds ...
I'll try to prepare my food and eat some chicken, rice, whatever in school.

I can't wait to wair my pads again and catch some balls.

I'm fired up.

short update:

got my bench up to 297

box-squat: 400

deadlift: 418

but :(

I'm currently at 220 bodyweight.

I'm doing ws4sb III right now and reduced my calorie-input.
I hope that I will get in shape until the season starts.

The good thing is, that I'm much stronger than last year didn't loose speed.
i think that I'm gonna play anywhere from slot, hb,te this year.

Most of the players in germany don't even lift weights, so that should be an advantage.

Your deadlift should be a lot higher than your squat. Good luck though.

Also make sure you're getting plenty of protein and carb cycling.
