I should be right, man Austin is a mad city, crazy fun. Yeah ladies day this weekend, add me on facebook scott, i'll inbox you my details, i've got plenty of blacks photos on there. I suppose you know big andy the welshman?

Anyway, I've started Defrancos Built like a badass 3 day program. Loving it to bits, i'm fit as hell at the moment aswell, I think i'm down to like 218 pounds, maybe less I cant weigh myself in the morning.

Currently doing a cycle of winadrol (PH) and 1.M.R, ****in loving it, starting to get my strength back, which is all good, especially on bench making some good moves there. Leaning up a fair bit aswell.

The gym we train at is like a ghetto sweatbox, its cool as hell, i'm deadlifting in a trap bar now (hex bar), that is the best thing ever, i'll never deadlift with an olympic bar again.

Dunno we'll soon find out. I'll be right.

i want to get to 200 pounds by the start of the second round back home (june), so i can go home and play second row, hopefully start lineout jumping.

So yeah i want to lose about 20 pounds.

We won another game yesterday, I had 2 try assists and 2 runs of probably 20m, didn't pilfer any ball because the rucks are a mess here, so much illegal play. We won probably 47-21 or something. I'll getting smashed in these scrums, I dont think Im too small, i never had these problems back home.

Ok so leg day, i got 130kg squat x 1 and 160kg DL x 1. Not as strong as i used to be but i'm headed in the right direction again, finally. Went for the singles because I'm deloading next week.

Also jumped on the tanita body fat guess at golds gym. It reckons im 221 pounds, 13.1% bodyfat and 63% hydrated.

Going to hook up a bodpod test next week in Austin if its cheap enough, going to phone up tomorrow.

Won 41-25 against st thomas up in houston @ Rice university. I scored a try and pilphered a couple of balls. Started in the front row, I got belted in loose head by some fat dude, but then I ended up on the side of the scrum and ****in loved it.

I really want to end in the second row and jump in lineouts.

Ok so i've officially made the move from loosehead into the back row, I'm playing blindside flanker against Mcallen on the weekend, stinging for it! Hopefully I'll have so much more energy now i'm not taking a beating in the front row and I mean, I know when I go home, more than likely I'll play second row, but I'm going to enjoy playing loose for the time being!

****in loved flanker huh, so much chasing, stealing ball, running the ball. I made two good breaks, one I got dragged down by the fullback, that was no good. Pinched 2 or 3 balls and a try saving tackle where I copped a ****in huge shoulder stinger.

you could always do slow carb, which is you mainly get your carbs during the day from beans, and the post-workout you can eat breads and pasta and such. it helps keep your blood sugar down, but you won't feel as depleted since you'll be getting some carbs.

I love playing second row. Making goalline stops and crashing the ball is what I love to do back when I was playing.

Good call on going back to clean eating :D I haven't tried keto yet but I feel like I will fail miserably on that diet.

How long are you going to be playing for them? It could be one of those things where they're trying to give one of their own guys more playing time at specific positions to build him up. If your union down there is anything like ours, the spring season doesn't really count towards your ranking, it's just a loose collection of games and tournaments. Spring is usually the time that coaches give more of their 2nd grade players cracks at 1st grade, or move around their 1st grade guys to see if they're a better fit somewhere. They might be moving you around figuring you'll be great no matter where they put you. American have a high level of confidence in rugby players with accents.

Nah I don't think you're whining. I put up with the same stuff with my team. One minute I'm flanker, the next I'm second row, then I'm a wing, then I'm propping for the 2nd grades in addition to playing 1st grade.

Oh wow I guess their season is different then ours.

lost to UT grads by 1 point, we had two of our backs sent off, tough loss, especiallyconsidering we had 13 men the second half and we had 2 penalty shots right in front to win it, missed 1 and tapped the second.

Oh well onto the next one.

that's some great work on the wieght loss, well done.

my advice on the postion thing, would be to work out what postion you want to play or what your best at tell your coach that's where you play and stick with it. i wouldn't want to be choping around between the front row and the back row week in week out pick one and stick to it or if you think your gona play 2nd row when you move back home defo start playing in the back row. but if you just wana play in the 1st team then just play where your put.

Texas D1 (Undefeated) and Texas D3 champions. There was some horrible sportsmanship from certain teams we played, the one comment that irked me was claims we played D1 players in the D3 comp to win it, Our D1 side played on Saturday afternoon and flogged houston 60-3, so I guess it's just sour grapes.

We scored in the last minute to beat Dallas area in the D3, the refeering was the most atrocious performance, i've ever seen, i've been playing ruby for 10 years in AUSTRALIA and watching the game for just as long, i know the rules, I know the interpretations, I know how to play, to cop some of the calls we did is tough to swallow.

don't sweat the comments. i'd take it as a compliment, that they thought d3 players were d1 caliber. the problem is many big teams will sub in their d1 or super league players for a cheap win. that happened to my team a few years ago when we played Old Blue back when they had a D1 a-side, b-side, and super league. We were playing they're b-side, and as we put in a few tries we noticed their super league guys coming in. we could tell because the super league guys have different jerseys than the d1 guys.

reffing is a huge issue in the US right now. not enough guys getting experience, also not enough guys who really want to ref.

Been a while since my last update, I'm back up to about 104 kgs, been bulking trying to get my strength back. Feeling pretty good. Starting work again next week so going to start cutting again, going to go right down as far as I can, hopefully around 95kgs.

Starting to get some strength back.
Bench: 90kg x 5.
OH Press: 50kg x 5 x 2.
Squat: Going for 120 kg tonight.
Dead (stiff leg): 120 kg x 5.

Goal: Looking to get real lean (95kgs), strong (120kg bench) and faster over the 100m and 40m.

How: Cut real hard but keep my protein intake up. Strength through 5/3/1 with assistance work and speed work on tuesday, thursdays at rugby training and plyometrics on Sunday.

Back playing rugby in Australia.

I played both Division 3 and Division 1 in the USA, divison 3 was awful rugby, terrible hands all round. Division 1 was good rugby, lots of ex-pats, lots of saffas and polies which meant D1 rugby was good, I got smashed from pillar to post in the front row, I got down to 217 pounds and still playing loosehead, it didn't go too well, I ended up, thankfully in the 2nd row and blindside.

I played #8 in 3rd grade on the weekend, only been to 1 training run. I reckon 2nd row will end up my position, hopefully jump in lineouts aswell.

Long time between updates, put some weight back on, back up 110kg, getting some nice strength gains.

Squat has gone to 160kgx2 or 353lbsx2.

Cutting now, nothing too rash, just cut out sugar and milk, going to hit a rapid cut around the 20th august.

Cutting hard for summer on oxy elite pro, i accidently bulked from 100kg to 112kg in about 3.5 months. feelsbadman. Put on some muscle got real strong.

Finished the rugby season in the front row, lost the qualifying semi final.

Enough is enough, cutting real hard now trying to get to 10%, going to be a tough road, 3 or 4 months i reckon.
