Hai gaise,
I purely train nogi grappling but occasionally hit the thai for luls. First of all I would like to say what level I am currently at and what my goals are:
* Trained BJJ 3 years, dominated by no-gi (dont like gi for many reasons).
* I train a 2 different clubs as I dont like to get used to my training partners style
* I am very tradional, i like to stick to the basics, this is what works for me.
As you could see I train at 2 different clubs, one of them being a Gracie Barra, which is taught by Black Belt phenom Braulio Estima and his younger brother Victor. I go once a week as the club is quite a while away. For those unaware of braulio here are some of his accomplishments.
* 2 TIME WORLD CHAMPION
* EUROPEAN 'ABSOLUTE CHAMPION'
* 5 TIME CBJJ PAN-AMERCIAN CHAMPION
* ADCC 2009 CHAMPION
The other being a local grappling club, where there are two highley succesfull no-gi grapplers who take the lessons.
I will upload pictures and video on a regular basis. I will be training tonight so will let you know how that goes. Let me know what you think by keeping me posted.
