First off, people on bb.com are AWESOME! Thank you so much for all the support and motivation. While I'm at the gym I think about all the things I've read on here when executing new moves, trying out new diets or workouts, etc.
Anyhow, after spending countless hours here on bb.com and attending the INBF Alamo Showdown yesterday, I am freshly motivated and thought I would post a contest thread... not to be showing my body all over the internet, but to keep myself accountable knowing there are people out there seeing my fat butt haha.

I am preparing for my first contest, the NPC Lackland on November 21, 2009. I am currently 7 weeks out minus one day.
I will be competing in bikini and figure.

So, to start I'll give you my stats, current diet and basic workout plan:
Female
5'10"
160lbs, 137lbs lean mass
13%bf
34-25-40
arms: 12.5"
legs: 25"
calves: 16"

Trying to hypertrophy upper body, lean out lower body, too much leg muscle

Workout
Every day - 45 min cardio upon waking, usually HIIT on the river trail, with carnitine and CytoLean

Sunday- Upper body (big movements, low reps, heavy weights)
Monday - Lower body (big movements, high reps, low weights)
Tuesday - plyo
Wed - back/chest (low rep, heavy)
Thurs - single joint legs (light weight)
Fri - bi/tri (heavy)
Sat - shoulders, plyo

Everything is followed by whatever cardio I can muster - stairmill, incline walk, elliptical

Current diet until end of week 6:
meal 1:
protein, .5 cup oatmeal

meal 2:
5 egg whites, .5 cup oatmeal (oatmeal pancakes, yum!!!)

meal 3:
5 oz meat
.5 cup greens
.5 cup brown rice

meal 4:
same

meal 5:
5 egg whites
.5 cup spinach

meal 6:
protein

Currently: seeing progress but cheating too much, must crack down to lean out this lower body. abs are showing, arms need to be more defined. legs are just too big, as are hips, need to be more streamlined, big round butt but no defined glutes

Photo 43, 45, 28 - taken 4 days ago of abs, legs and arms
Photo-8 - taken today when I put on this jeans and realized that I had lost some weight! Legs are still full and tight in the jeans but waist is super loose!

Hello from a fellow Texan... looking good so far, keep it up! I have a buddy doing the same show, so there is a good chance I'll be there that weekend.

1) I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday to go over my latest bloodwork with the Doc, thank goodness cause my glucose is outta control right now!!

2) THANKS TO FELLOW BODYSPACERS!!!! Colette Nelson is super excited for us to be working together on this diabetes situation! As soon as I get my paperwork from the Doc she is setting me up with a 3 month program

3) AAANND the best news - I am now working with Layne. I want to say that I did not choose to work with him solely based on his responses in this thread. Layne in no way personally influenced me or convinced me to dump my old trainers and choose him instead. I sought him out and chose to work with him based on his credentials, education, background and truthfully, Ava Cowan I had already been reading his responses on bb.com and was already infatuated with Ava's success and programs, in fact, I had already switched over to her proclaimed workout program on the Gaspari website a few weeks ago. So after learning that he had helped her to get there, I looked over his background. I have a B.S. in Biology and will be going back to school to get my Masters in Kinesiology so I trust that he knows what's going on with our bodies and that any scientific question I throw at him, he will be able to answer with an intelligent response. Also, he responds... that's huge! Also, just to throw this out there too, he originally suggested that I contact Dr. Joe to weigh out all my options.
oh yeah! and as you know, Layne is part of Scivation products. Back in early 2008 when Scivation was really getting rolling, I got lifestyle diet help from "Team Scivation" aka Derek Charlebois. I also used the "Cut Diet" off and on, so this is really something that has gone all the way around and back! Literally and figuratively because I was in Japan when I started lifting weights!

Also had my measurements done today... sadly it seems my body fat has gone up but I look leaner?
161lbs, 15.6%bf :( :(
25.12 lbs body fat, 135.88lbs lean mass
chest: 33-35.5?, shoulders: 40.5?, waist: 27.5-29.5?, hips: 39? (down 2 inches!), thighs: 22.5?, calves: 16?, bicep: 12-12.5?
BMR: 1572kcal, BMI: 23.2
