Hi there ladies, sorry to intrude on your forums but I have a question I was hoping you could help me with.

My girlfriend is living on campus this semester and has been asking me about a workout routine for her. She had previously been working in a barn with horses 4-5 days a week so was keeping in good shape that way. With school, she can only do that one or two days a week. Being a beginner myself, I was wondering if anyone here could help me out with a schedule to put her on to keep her in shape.

I know that overall it's going to have to be her decision as to what she does, but I was hoping someone could give me a general idea for a woman's workout schedule as I have no idea.

Additional Info.:

She's already skinny so fat loss isn't the big issue.
She has the university campus available to her as well as the P90x videos.
She has terrible eating habits which I'm currently working on with her. :)
I'm not forcing her to do this in any way, she's shown interest and asked for help.

Thank you SO much.

Thank you SO much.

Couple things:

A girl can be skinny and carry more body fat than she needs. (It's called being skinny fat) With her terrible eating habits, she more than likely falls into the category. She needs to focus on her diet 1st. A person can train and do cardio like crazy and won't get any results due to crappy eating habits.

When it comes to training women need to train just like men...it's no different. So if she's looking to get that nice, defined/toned look than she needs to add more muscle mass in order to do so. P90x is not a program for adding overall lean mass.

Hehe. No worries. Lots of people miss them.

Come back and ask specifics if there's something that post doesn't address.
