I recently competed in an NPC Natural Ohio BB competition. I won my open class, masters class and overall masters class,...My question is,..does this qualify me to compete in the Team Universe NPC?? If so,..would competing in the NPC Natural next month and not doing as good un-qualify me?

Yes, your qualified. No, it's a different federation.

I was told to qualify for Team U all you need to do is compete in an NPC show within the calendar year. There really is no pre set qualification.

In my state, WA, our NPC head rep. lists our Ironman "natural" show as a TU qualifier, top 2 in each class qualify.

There is no "qualification" for Team Universe. Anyone holding an active NPC card who has competed in at least one NPC show in the calendar year is eligible for the contest - it says it right on the application for the show (only figure girls need to qualify at sanctioned events).
Even if there are designated "Team U" qualifiers, they aren't necessary to be eligible to compete. I asked Dave Liberman this same question back in 2007 when I did his show as a warm-up for my pro card 6 weeks out (in which I snuck in and got 2nd place not even peaking for the show in the open light heavyweight LOL). He said that essentially you don't have to "qualify" for Team U by placing 2nd or higher in the regional level tested shows like that, BUT - if you don't place at least 2nd in a very tough class OR take your class in the Open, you might as well not even bother with Team U.
That being said, Chris - you'll have to assess where your physique lines up with the lineups that they have every year for that show and decide if you think you can hang with them. That show doesn't award conditioning in the same manner that smaller natural shows do and you are going to be going up against guys in your weight class that are just as lean as you and MUCH shorter with a lot more development (especially in the legs and chest). Not to mention, they don't have a Masters class at all - it's all open classes. I'm not trying to discourage you, I'm simply stating the facts, so I hope you don't take it wrong.

Oh no,..not taken wrong at all,..Believe me,..I do see the competition at Team U,..these guys are little giants. Basically I'm just trying to find direction to where I want to take my bodybuilding. I was speaking with an INBF pro last night at my gym. He stated he would not compete Team U because of what he can bring a s anutural competitor. He gave me some good options and things to consider within the boundaries of my physique and conditioning.. All of this is still an eye opener to me. Thanks Tommy.
