WNBF ROOKIE PRO CARD RULES.
A WNBF Rookie Pro card is a limited Pro Card that allows the winner's to compete in up coming WNBF Pro Events in that current calendar year without having a WNBF Pro card.
Rookie Pro status is only good for the current season, and expires at the end of that calendar year. The only show that a Rookie Pro cannot enter is the Pro World Championships, in November. Note: unless you win prize money at another WNBF Pro show that season.
Rookie Status expires the end of the calendar year that you won the status.
Note: If you place in the prize money at any WNBF Pro show that season you will automatically be awarded full Pro Status in the WNBF.

So instead of a normal pro card when you win @ a pro qualifier you get your rookie card? Thus World's will be a qualifying event for new pros? What happens @ the end of your rookie year if you don't win money?

We will still have regular Pro Qualifiers, which will still offer full WNBF Pro status. The rookie card will be offered to shows that are not yet as established. We will have a special WNBF Pro Rookie Card show before the Worlds for athletes to try and qualify for those who need to try and gain full pro status.
If you win prize money, you gain full Pro status. If not, you return to the INBF to try and gain a full Pro card.

So how does it work right now if you turn Pro in the WNBF? Once you win your pro card, your in? Or do you need to compete within a year to maintain status? What happens if you have an injury your trying to get over?
Thanks

If you win a full WNBF Pro card, you must activate it within one year from the show. In the case of injury, medical exceptions can be made and will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
With a rookie card, it is good for that calendar year.
