Iam thinking I should. Romo is just outstanding. He can put up 300+ yds a game. Vote on Poll

This would be a stupid trade for you.
Brady will throw 40 TD's and no more than 10-13 picks.
Romo will throw 30 TD and 15-18 picks.

What are you basing this on?? No hate but Brady only has the one year where he threw for 50 TD's. After that season he has never even thrown over 30 TD's.
I agree the trade would be stupid because Brady will end up with better numbers but I don't think he is getting 40 TD's

Thread starter claims ND will "tear up" Michigan, then wants to trade Tom Brady for Romo.

Another quality thread involving sports....your past football predictions have been horrible( need we remind you ) Now you want to trade Brady for Romo?? You can't be serious

Ok, I will give it another week. Romo is no joke. Lets see how the New England Bradys do tonight. Iam actually curious since the team has gone through so much change. They are not the same team since the 16-0 season.

You should at least see how the game turns out first before jumping the gun. Even if they lose don't trade Brady off for Romo. The man is a proven Elite QB. Romo doesn't suck but he's not Tom Brady and has yet to prove that he can go the distance when it really counts.

You're right. But he was throwing 28 TD's to the likes of Deion Branch, Reche Caldwell, and Troy Brown.
His seasons above 30 touchdowns directly correlate to having receivers who are good.

They are almost EXACTLY the same offensively. Just no more McDaniels.

I'm a Cowboys fan, and I'm keeping Brady. It also looks like my friends can shut up for laughing at me for taking Matt Hasselback in the tenth round over Cassel, Palmer, Eli, and Sanchez.

joelz is a douchebag
he's the same guy that got in an argument with me because he is a dolutional UT fan. He said if Tech beats texas last year(which they did) then he would come back and eat crow. He didn't...I brought it up in another thread and he negged me and said that it was a fluke and that Tech really didn't win...they just got lucky...he's an idiot and ill never respect him

I think your logic is backwards. The reason Brady threw 50 TDs one year and around 30 all the others is because 1) He had a great defense all those other years and didn't need to score 40 points a game and 2) he only had randy Moss one year. Now that he's back, still has Moss, and defense that has only gotten worse, you're expecting his numbers to revert back to before the 50 TD season? If anything, people should be predicting 55 TDs, but no one has the balls to do that.

I am not expecting him to revert back to old form but come down to earth a bit?? Ya. Do you realize how hard it is to throw 40 TD's in a season??? To predict 55 is delusiounal. The season they had was for the record books. No way they repeat that record or those numbers.
1) Dan Marino - 48 in 1984
2) Dan Marino - 44 in 1986
3) Kurt Warner - 41 in 1999
4) Peyton Manning - 49 in 2004
5) Tom Brady - 50 in 2007

After that season, he was hurt the whole season. He still has Moss, which was the huge difference maker in allowing him the 50 td season. I figure he throws 30-40 this year, especially if his defense is as much weaker as I anticipate.

Brady looked very shaky the first half. I think Romo had the better overall performance. I will give it one more week. I think teams got a small blueprint on how to stop NE Bradys. Randy Moss is not as quick. I'll give it one more week and stand behind Romo. fuking steve slaton screwd me over. bum

It depends. If you want to win your league, then keep Brady. If you want a QB that chokes in december when most fantasy league playoffs begin, then get Romo.

I dunno about that... 39/53, for 378 yards and 2 TDs, with an INT that was a ridiculously good play. Wouldn't say he looked THAT rusty. Also, if that is rusty, and the line plays as poorly, just think about what he's gonna do when he's back into his stride again!

It took him at least the first half to get into his groove. He had a lot of high passes and his timing was a bit off. The second half he was more like himself and came through to take the win. He'll be way better the next game that's for sure.

Romo had a "great game" and Brady had a "shakey game" and Romo scored only 6 more points than Brady in my fantasy league.

2 scores in 73 seconds.. that is brady.. It may have taken him the game to get his feet, but he will be great this season... Look at his stats.. besides the INT; 2TD and almost 400 yrds
