12 team league non PPR flex spot...Boldin has a messed up hamstring and hasn't practiced in 3 weeks. I have Donnie Avery, Cotchery, Hixon, and Galloway on my bench.
What should I do?

You don't have much on the bench. As far as I know he should be ready to go. If he does start expect a good game. Nate Clements has always defended Fitz really well. That will leave Boldin to pick up the slack. Now if it's reported he's probably going to be out then sit him. If that's the case I would start Cotchery.

As of now, he's limited in practice and questionable for Week 1. He was quoted as saying "I do not want to push myself too hard". He could be talking about his practice time, or getting back on the field period. Whisenhunt said he will be a game time decision.
Watch the inactives tomorrow...if he doesn't play I would start Hixon or Cotchery (in that order IMO). If he says he's going to play, you will have a tough decision on your hands. He may be limited, or even worse a simple decoy.
Good luck.

To be honest the thing I would look into doing if I were you is subscribe to one of the pay fantasy sites. You get good rankings and all that stuff as a base for your own rankings, but you also get up to the minute inactives. Saved me a bunch of times.

Keep an eye on the reports concerning Boldin tomorrow morning. IMO, if you haven't seen anything conclusive about him playing by 12:45, put in Cotchery (Jets play at 1).

I would start Galloway with Brady throwing to him there's a good chance he'll catch a TD

Boldin will be a game time decision according to latest reports. I have Breaston and was prolly gonna run him neway, but definitely will now.
Boldin to be game-time decision: The Arizona Republic reports that Anquan Boldin's availability for Week 1 against San Francisco will not be determined until pregame warmups. "It's improving every day," Boldin said of his right-hamstring injury.
