Recently damaged a cable on my powertec lat machine as I was moving it. Contacted Powertec via email to get a price for the cable and for a lost ball head lock pin (both my fault). They returned my email and requested my info and when and where I bought the lat machine. They then shipped a new cable and pin out to me the same day at no charge. Both arrived approx 2 days later.
Great job Powertec !!!

That is great customer service.
I had a similar issue with my bodysolid lat pd. I dropped the weight one night accidentally and the bar on the carriage bent. I emailed them and three days later had a new one.
This is the service that really breeds loyalty. Congrats on the hassle-free service!

That will only apply if you bought it new right? If I got my equipment used, then I probably won't get the same service from them right?

well, you will have to pay for the parts but, the service should be the same. I cannot remember if Nick is still there but other than the charge I think he handles everything the same.

Nice. I might pay a little more and buy a powertec rack instead of a cheaper one

Yeah, their customer service rocks! I had the preacher curl attachment come slightly damage, minor tear in the arm pad, and I had a brand new pad and pin delivered within 2 days! Freakin awesome, now after I wear out the current damaged pad I will have a brand new replacement pad and pin free of charge. I will probably buy the majority of my equipment from them, cant put a price on great customer service!

............ cant put a price on great customer service!
qft. Companies that take care of their customers after the sale are to be patronized. Sometimes, buying from the cheapest supplier is the wrong way to go.

Yeah, their customer service rocks!
X2 to that. I asked them if it's possible to get a replacement pulley for a lat tower as it seemed to be slightly off round, no further questions asked I got two pulleys in my mail 2 days later.
I don't think they cared when and where I bought the equipment. BTW it was purchased from a "cheaper supplier" (this site), but it was drop ship from Powertec anyway :)

i haven't needed service yet, but their sales always replied within 1 working day to any questions, which shouldn't even be a big deal but seems it isn't the norm any more. emailed bodysolid a few weeks ago about a measurement question and never got a reply..
