I have Blount on my fantasy teams but he's going up against the Texans defense. I see the Buccaneers getting behind early and resorting to the pass. If you didn't have a RB1/RB2 and a decent flex choice then you might toss him in at flex, but I think he's a liability this week.

After seeing what happened to the KC defense against THE DOLPHINS last week I am starting Tebow. He's bound to get at least 15-20 imo but maybe even 30+... KC hasn't had much time to recuperate after that loss to Miami so I see them dropping a lot of points towards Tebow.

Rivers had a strong showing against GB, but keep in mind that GB is the second worst pass defense in the league..

Tough call for me. I could see Rivers going off against the Raiders as he's done in the past, and him and his squad want to make a statement after their loss at GB last week. Kansas City's defense against the run is very friendly, but Tebow playing at KC scares me. Haley ought to have them fired up after their embarrassing loss to Miami.

I have Chris Johnson, Shonn Greene and DeMarco Murray in. I figure Murray is a shoe in. I thought Greene would be a starter for sure, but not sure with this concussion. Chris Johnson should get ok numbers against the Panthers (they have the worst rushing D in the league).

I benched Tolbert last week and paid the price. Not sure what I should do this week. What's the deal with Ryan Matthews anyway?

As of now I'm going with Gore Tolbert Nicks Cruz Manningham since Bradshaw is hurt.

But I'm really considering starting Helu over one of the Giants WRs at the flex spot...but which one to replace? All 3 are capable of scoring 20+ but I don't know which one will. Giants have been running tons of 3 WR sets and 49ers aren't that great against the pass. Also, since Bradshaw is injured this makes me think they'll pass more which means all 3 can expect around 10 targets each since they'll be on the field often. 49ers badass linebackers will also probably shut down their TE, Ballard.

Helu could be a costly mistake though bc of Shanahan's revolving door of RBs...

Tolbert could be a mistake too bc Mathews is coming back but something tells me Tolbert will get about 60% of normal carries along with his usual goal line/3rd down role so he could be a decent start again this week (got me 23 pts last week).

Thoughts/input? Will rep.

Gore's not completely 100% but he's been practicing all week. They did say though that he was favoring his healthy leg over the one with the injured leg but I have no choice but to start him vs. ****ty Giants rush D.

Nicks is also expected to play. He was seen running routes at full speed during practice yesterday.

Gore is probably 80-85% healthy while Nicks is 90-100% (he also got to rest all of last week).

Obviously I'll sub out Helu for either of these players if they turn out to be doubtful this weekend.

Strong stacked ass sleeper team. I'd start Giants D and Gronk or Hernandez over Finley. You should look to trade one of those TEs and package them with a RB for a Ray Rice or similar RB.

I'd say get Finley out of your lineup, and hit somebody over the head in a trade for him. Last time they played the Jets, Hernandez had 14 targets coming back from his knee injury, and Gronk picked up blitzes all game. The Jets are the only team I'd sit Gronk against

Yea it's a good and bad thing. When I have them all starting I'm guaranteed close to 80 pts from all of them (which is about what you can expect from starting 5 players anyways). I traded for Eli and Bradshaw pretty low earlier in the season so it's been working out for me. Drafted Nicks way too high for how he's performing so that one's biting me in the ass (3rd round...coulda got megatron... /wrist). Drafted Mario very late and just recently started plugging him into the lineup because I had to trade away AJ Green for other needs. Picked up Cruz after his breakout game vs Eagles and haven't looked back since.

Their tough schedule coming up makes me assume that most of their matchups will be high scoring/shootouts.

Lol, other than Welker my WRs are garbage (though Antonio Brown looks like he was a good pick up). My team is stacked at RB though. Having Mccoy, Fred jackson and Murray makes having bad WRs more bearable.

Not sure how I feel about Davis. Alex Smith is a subpar QB and hasn't been looking to Davis much the past few games. Also keep in mind that the 49ers are a run-first offense and rely mainly on Frank Gore.

I would. Stewart is about even with Mendy (esp now that Pitt is more pass orientated). And Nelson is a big upgrade over Crabtree.

Definitely a tough call. I would say all have the potential to get about 3, or up to 15.

I have T. Smith as my wy WR4, if Nicks or Burress don't go, hes in. The guy has to be in the top 5 for yards targeted, just isn't consistent enough, but Flacco seems to like him, and its a good match up.

Decker and Tebow seem to be connecting as well. Jacobs against a tough run D, so I don't think I'd go that way.

I'd be between Decker and Smith, and think I'd go Decker. Den v KC may get high scoring, and if Den wants to stay close will require Tebow to at least hit a few throws.

Honestly you can't go wrong with any of them. Julio has the big play potential that's similar to (and in my opinion more consistent, when he's healthy) DJax. Brown gets a lot of targets so he's a good option when healthy, Steelers also pass a ton. Avant could go off with Djax being out but IMO he's probably the riskiest player to start. Fitz is Fitz, he can go off for 20+ any game so he's probably your "safest" bet even though he's not living up to his name this year.

So basically I'm going with Cruz and Helu for sure for now. Nicks will be plugged in if healthy, if not will plug in Mario. If both are out Plaxico gets the start (****ing injuries!!!!!)

The question comes down to: Helu vs Mendenhall. Helu will have to play with Sexy Rexy so I'm not sure how that'll affect his screen game (league is PPR, he had 14 catches last game). Mendy will have more rushing chances since the weather is bad but they've also been giving their other RBs decent amount of carries so I'm pretty cautious. Shannahan could **** me over by starting Choice/Torrain or some**** this week as well :\

I'd go with Brown > Battle, especially if it's PPR. Lots of targets, lots of passing, etc. But you did mention the bad weather today so it's your call.

I played Fred Davis over Gronk. it hurts but I should get the win as well, not benching gronk anymore he's basically a TE stud if you look at his games only there's only two that I would consider bad (for a TE)

Jacobs will go back to the bench once Ahmad is back. Even then, the Giants are not a rushing defense. They're the worst in the league. Andre is a big question mark. I'd keep what you have now. If you're going to trade, definitely look to your WR core (4 starters imo) and grab a RB.

I would actually say pick up Flynn (Rodgers back up) He's shown some real talent and a solid knowledge of the offense. So he should be serviceable with a decent playoff schedule (Oak, KC and Chi)

The nice thing about having Flynn, is that GB isn't going to say "Hey we're sitting Rodgers this week" on Wednesday of week 16 (When they have a night game) They're going to wait until as late as possible to declare his status so Chicago can't prepare.

If you have a QB from another team as your #2 or #3... You'll have to decide on him first... But if you have Flynn... You can go right up to game time, and at the very least insure that you have the potent GB passing offense.


I reccomend this ^^^^ to all Rodgers owners.


In fact... I might grab Flynn since I'm before the rodgers owner... Just because it's a very likely possibility that we might play each other in the fantasy bowl! (He has no other QB, and it would mean he'd be picking up someone like Mark Sanchez!)

The best case scenario is that they keep winning, and rodgers keeps playing in hopes of them going for an undefeated season.

But depending on the rest of your team, start looking for backup QBs or trade rodgers now for some high value players to fill in your weak spots

It's kind of an ugly question, because neither team is going to be in playoff contention going into the home stretch, so they are more likely to rest their starters...

I almost have to say MJD... Just because they have a shade closer of a chance of playing it out... Mojo is more involved in the passing game and the jagwads are more likely to stay in those games... Where as the Lions, Saints and Bears going to blow the vikings out and they'll abandon the run more, while at the same time more likely to pull their starters early.
