Anyone know something that can help me supress my hunger, whenever it happens i just drink a ton of water but i still feel hungry. Last night i must of drank a gallon just before i went to bed but i still had that empty feeling. I might just drink a protein shake but that would put me over my calories at night.

what do yall do to supress hunger?

To me, if your hungry that means you're not eating enough. I've been running a calorie defecit for the past week and haven't felt hungry except when work ran late and I was an hour past meal time. I'm sure there are good appetite suppressants out there, but make sure you're caloric intake is correct.

If you're hungry it's because you need to eat something. Regardless of what your goals are, you should not be going hungry, you should be feeding your body and feeding it properly so as to help you reach/maintain your goals. I never try to suppress my hunger, or to force myself to eat to reach my goal...I arrange my diet so as to get the calories I want and to do it while avoid having to force myself to eat, or suppress any hunger.

Considering your stats....5'-9 and 163 pounds...I'm not sure why you would be worried about taking in a few extra calories...but what ever your reasoning is, you could try to reevaluate your diet and rearrange things, spread out your meals/eating so that you are eating differently so as to avoid that empty stomach/hungry feelings.

I agree with the above. It looks like you may not need to be in a deficit. Aside from that, you should try to find foods that allow you to feel full despite a calorie deficit. That was a key to me being able to stay on my diet when I started.

hey if your feeling hungry than a great non food to shove down your throat is a oatmeal, its great and it sticks to your ribs, dont like the way oatmeal tastes? toss in a scoop of your protein powder and your good to go.
I've been dieting myself and I only eat when I'm hungry, the trick is I'll drink a glass of water and then eat 10 min later, that way I know what kinda pangs I get. Just never starve yourself it'll ruin your work and mess up your body.

I agree that if your hungry you need to eat.........but your body is probably telling you its missing something. not just food but something specific. say veg or fruit or protein or whatever. try think what you've been missing.

or if you've been eating sugary food then it could just be cravings from this.
