Flexonline's decision for the first cover was this

Damn. The first cover (Phil/Dex) is f*** awesome !!!
Both covers look like sh*t. Not a fan of the cheesy half/half style. It's what you'd expect from an 80's martial arts video cover.
EDIT: Actually, second one is not too bad. First one still blows.

The first one looks terrible, 2nd looks good but this is a repost from while back.
I don't normally ever buy flex but I think I might for once.

What about Wolf?
I would like to see the same half / half pic with Wolf and Kai, it would be interesting to see two mass monsters with ultra pale and ultra dark skin. I would also put Jay running way from both of them in the background with Heath checking the width of Wolfs Delts and jackson looking at Kai's shear freaky size in dis belief.
THIS would sell a lot more issues of FLEX.

lol so because Kai is an MD man, they just count him out (ok i suppose they cant put him on the cover if he is with another magazine). Kai has a better shot at it then wolf IMO. Anyway...

i dont like the 2nd one bc it assumes cutler is in the running for the top spot. im not saying its impossible but he was off at the O the last 2 years, and last year didnt even derserve top 5. if the last 2 olympia showings are any indicator, he's not going to do well.
i do like the first one though.

Not yet but unfortunately it is heading in that direction. His narrow waist and wide shoulders is what catapulted him in popularity, and hopefully he does not lose sight of that.

Um, in case you forgot, Dex has put on some good size in the offseason as well and he ALWAYS comes in conditioned. He's the raining Mr. O, you gotta at least have him in the equation.
I wouldn't be surprised if Dex comes out looking better than ever. It's just going to be interesting come show date because Phil and Kai look so good in the offseason, Jay is saying he's looking better than the last couple of years, Wolf is a beast and Victor is solid as well. I can't wait.

All Flex athletes no wolf or kai.
Second is the better one I think. But as people have said, Kai, Wolf etc, nowhere to be seen as they are not with Flex. I think Kai should definately be in there. Has an AC winner ever placed out of the top 3 at the O in the same year? Saying that, this is the first year where its been very open..

Dave, he did have a huge gut - let's hope he corrected the problem. I'm not talking as in a fat gut, his distension was the worst I've ever seen ever! I was at a photo shoot after last years Olympia and Dennis' distension was horrific at best - I couldn't believe my eyes.
Like I said, I hope he's corrected the problem.

It's not that they're "not with Flex" i don't think. I'm pretty sure it's that MD has contracts with their guys sayin they're not allowed to be on the covers of any other magazines and don't do interviews with any other radio program other than MD Radio.

Did you see the new Flex cover? How can they forget about Kai Greene and Victor Martinez? What about Dennis Wolf? How can they make it into a three-man contest between Dexter, Phil, and Jay?

the funny thing is that joe weider owns the magazine and the contest so its very clear even now wolf / kai / victor have no chance. wolf would not make a good mr o imo in terms of promoting the sport espeically given he cant speak english. dex sucked as well tho tbh. phil would be good as was jay and kai is a great role model

Wasn't really a question more of a statement saying I don't understand peoples thinking saying they have no chance because of one magazine cover. Maybe I should have worded it better :p
