I've read a lot of the forums on Birth Control, but can't find the answer I am looking for.

I was on Yaz, which is one of the best birth control pills (body doesn't retain water on it). I would drink a bottle of water and pee three times. Well, Yaz was also $68 a month for me, so I switched to a cheap, cheap birth control. If I drink that same bottle of water I was before, I won't pee at all. I've gained 4 pounds (water weight) in one week. Kind of depressing. I've got a J.Lo ass and a bloated mid-section now.

Does anyone know if there was a way to minimize the mount of water I'm taking? There are pills out there for everything. I need fiber for my bladder. lol! Any help would be appreciated. I, like many of you, am in the best shape of my life and I only want to get better and this darn pill is hindering that. Thanks in advance!

Ahh!!! this happened to me too! I went up by 10 lbs! I was so discouraged! I got off of the pill completely, watched my sodium and in 2 weeks it was gone. :) Good luck.

Your better off spending the money and taking Yaz than doing a cheap brand and paying all the extra money to buy supplements to get rid of the bloating! ;)

ugh I'm screwed. Can't afford the Yaz right now. I'm not going to put birth control on a credit card. If I ever get my benefits back at work I'll go back to Yaz. Can't go off birth control either...I tend to get cysts when I go off it. Yes, I'll eventually HAVE to, but I'll go down that route when it's time.
