Well today I had knee surgery from an injury I obtained in Feb from Bjj class. I got stuck in a knee bar and the guy cranked it. This will be my weekly log of everything from my recovery to training, and hopefully getting my blue belt.

Today was my first halfway workout since my surgery last Wed. Last week the doctor scoped my knee and turns out I have some soft tissue damage. I am able to walk on my leg a little bit now, and able to stand. Since I have a heavybag and speedbag I decided to do a little workout. This is what I did;
Speed bag work- 30 mins (10 3 min rounds with a 30 sec break)
Heavybag work- just jabs for 15 mins. Think I'll stick to the speed bag. My knee started hurting when I did this.
Later this week I hope to get back in the gym for some upperbody lifting.... We will see how that goes.....

Well my knee is doin' good. It really didn't bother me that much except today. Today for some reason it felt as if someone was sticking a knife in my knee, so I iced it 3 times for 20 or so mins today. I also decided I'd start going back to the gym today. just did upperbody today this is what I did;
Hammer Curls 25x10x4
Bench 135x10,185x8,195x6,200x4
Strightbar Skull crushers- barx10x3
Decline pushups-10,10,added a resistance band x10, added a 25 x 5
Then decided to do the bicycle machine for 10 mins on level 5. My knee started to hurt around 9mins so I dunno if I should keep it up.
I hope to get my knee back to 100% before PT starts. Or a week or so after. Then gotta make weight...
