I broke my left elbow while running about 3.5yrs ago, and it was put in a splint (not full cast), the doctors said it would be better not to restrict motion. Once it healed I did some exercises on my own, but at the time couldn't afford physiotherapy. Now I have limited ROM, my arm can extend to maybe about 170deg, not full 180. And it is a lot weaker than my right arm, and this limits exercises.
- is it possible to recover the lost range or is it too late?
- to compensate I have to use lower weights. Is it advisable to use diff weight dumbbells on the 2 hands?
- are there any exercises to try on my own?
