Hi! So I recently joined this site because I needed some motivation as I was starting to slack off in my p90x journey. I reached day 30 and had nice results, then into phase 2 I was missing workouts/cheating too much. Anyway, I have been reading the forums and have been learning about nutrition/training ... but I'm also sooo confused at the same time!!
Everyone has different opinions about nutrition plans, working out etc. So I have a few questions:
1.) Is it better to do cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach or eat something first?
2.) I am 126 lbs, 5' 2". I am also 23% bodyfat. Is my goal of getting to 15% by September feasible??
3.)Recently I have been running out of energy early during my workouts, which is strange. I don't understand why I can't complete certain workouts that I can usually finish with mega energy. I just feel sluggish. Today I logged what I ate in at FitDay.com and my caloric intake was only 1,073. Is that too low? And could that be the reason why I am losing energy?
I really appreciate any help and advice. I am really serious about transforming my body, so I just want to have a good nutritional plan everyday. I dont even care if I have to eat the same thing everyday.

1. Cardio after weights
2. It's feasible but not that healthy.
3. Based on your size and goals, I'd say your caloric intake should be just over 1500 calories. This might help you put a plan together... http://missfitchick.net/BasicsofNutritionandFitnessPart2.html

Welcome :) Being tired could be from a number of things lack of sleep....etc.. but yes not enough calories is def a contributing factor. You are similar in height and weight to me and I eat close to 1600 calories a day and am loosing weight consistently. If you are not getting enough calories your body will hold on to your weight.

I know what you mean by being overwhelmed or confused.
One thing that has helped me: I set a goal to log on to the site everyday after I complete my workout. When I do, I : (1) Log my workout in my bodyblog and copy it to my journaling thread. (2) Find a new friend with my height and, if they inspire me, send them a personal message asking for their support. (3) Search the newbie sticky threads and read at least one article/post to educate myself.
This has made my fitness journey SO much more complete and invigorating. As a result of doing the above three things, I've: (1) Become more accountable for my progress (or lack thereof). (2) I now have a support group of great women who encourage me and help me along. and (3) I have learned something each day about nutrition and weight lifting to keep me in the right mindset [things like triple sets, muscle fatigue, slow twitch fibers, technique, different lifts, etc.)
I'd encourage you to enter all the stats you can on your profile, set goals on your profile, and start a journaling thread (inviting us to subscribe to it so we can support you.)
Hope this helps!

YOu know, lately .. well for the past 2 months (since I've started p90x) I have not been able to go to bed at a reasonable hour. For some reason I've been just sitting up really late past midnight. It's like my body won't shut down or wind down. I've just been an insomniac since I've started working out. Does this have anything to do with me being more active, or is it just a coincidence? I've also noticed that when I do lay in bed trying to sleep I get really anxious. Not about anything in particular, but just in general.

I get that same feeling but only when i work out at night, so i switched to morning sessions and it is much better. But yeah it is totally normal and once u get into ur routine schedule ur body will get use to it and chill out.
