does this really work? i have that lower left side back pain for few years now. i have tried everything and even got a bone scan and it shows nothing. i tried facet joint injection, chiro, PT, strengthening. it does nothing. i was wondering if Spinal Decompression would be the next step to try. Does it just kind of pull your buddy half and lower half apart to release ur spine and crack it? i feel this lower left back pain 24/7. it gets bothered more when lets say i do hack squats on the machine, i cant do barbell rows or t bar rows anymore because it strains that whole lower back trying to stabalize my body. when i try hyperextensions after about 8 reps on first set my lower back is fried and when i get up it is so strained and kills. its hard to do my own body weight for hyperextensions and that should be easy. im not overweight or anything. has anyone tried Spinal Decompression?

i like hanging from a chinup bar for spinal decompression.

im talking about the actually special machine in offices. i tried just hanging from the bar with my hands. i wouldnt even try trying to go upside down with my feet, but ya it does feel good hanging somewhat, but it just goes back to normal.

assuming spinal decompression does anything, then a pullup hang should get the job done. The good thing is that you can do that daily, or whatever your workout schedule is. Relax the torso, and you can feel it pull on the spinal ligaments.
I'm not sure about hyperextensions for lower back. Probably squat / deadlift is better, with good form of course.

if the lower back pain you are reffering to is a back sprain it could be that one of your legs is shorter then the other, or you have just damaged that lower back muscle and you havent gave it time to recover, even walking can delay healing time, i had this back sprain for a few months and i just rested in bed for like 2-3 days and it was much better, then it gradually heals.

i hurt it from doing a heavy dead along time ago when i should of eased back into deads. i thought i could still do same weight. the hang from the pull up bar doesnt help

I have lower back pain on the left side sometimes too, laying flat on my back and putting my legs up against something helps out a ton, like keep your back flat but have your legs up at a 90 degree angle, great stuff. Sometimes before I work out I get on the leg press just to do this, feels great and loosens my back.
