So i had a wonderful comment the other day..... I was getting power tools at the store (ar ar ar...) and when i picked up my purchases, the lady said, "Damn you have big biceps!" not a bad way to start the day.
Well, new chapter in life, new journal AND have to keep up with the jon'es, all you all getting new threads.
Bulking started yesterday twice the amount of protein as last comp and LOT O FOOD, i am keeping it realatively clean...
oh and sleep, just bought a new bed last night....MINE!!!
Now, where are those heavy azz things i need to pick up and put back down...

So my new bottle of Trena came in, started it and borrowed MG's red pen.....(j/k) :D
My interpreting job didn't show up today so i snuck to the gym quickly while my mom had the kids (shhhhhh)
Legs, its been like forever!
Warmed up with leg extensions single and double leg (love single leg)
Leg press (yes, my fav)
Since it was the first equip and i havent worked out in sometime, i thought i would see what i could do.....
360x10 this was well i guess a warm up LOL
450x10 um 2nd warm up????
470x8 jeez this was an ego boast
540x6 HELL FAWK'N YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hack squats (ok now realize this are not my forte.... I usually use 20 - 50 lbs total on this thing and struggle.

So i have been working on my competition tan poolside with lobster bisque and wine sauce.... ;)
I keep drinking massive amounts of protein for muscle gains .........................

so made it to the gym yesterday and finally posted today!
legs: I was tired and still fighting a cold but.... I got 590 for only 2 reps then had to take a 25 plate off.... ya thats a PR i did hacks 250 hacks that like 4x more than i have EVER done and I think i did 180 on ext.... I guess i'll have to start bringing a book cuz the brain is toast! In for the gym tmrw and the next day....and the next...and....

last night, i had grilled salmon, noodles, corn on the cob........and a piece of turtle pie!!!!!!!!
I will be changing up diet in Aug. I intend to try and bulk lean...this is new for me so, we shall see how it goes..... I need to work up the numbers

So, I am torn, I really don't want sTBE included in my feeling thoughts etc...so i don't want to include them in my journal...and toyed with giving up the journal (yet again). But this is who i am and this is what helps me. I guess I'll keep it mello....He never like bb or listened to me so it really shouldn't matter....
I have a few more days to eat "freely" I know i am bigger because clothes are tighter. I weighed myself (to get the numbers for protein/carb/etc...) eek I hate numbers! I'll stick with the mirror and how clothes fit, number scare me especially when bulking. :eek:
I tried on shirts and they didn't fit across the shoulders but if i got the next size up, I looked as if i had on my dads...wait he is big in the middle...um maybe goats shirt on... Lol. I tried on tanks didn't have to worry about tight in the shoulders and you could actually see muscle...no, a LOT of muscle!
We are getting a kid schedule down and school starts soon so I should be able to be MUCH more consistant on my lifting days. I have the basement cleaner so i can continue to work there. I have been stretching so i can get the splits for the fitness part.
I have wondered MANY times (and still will) if I can even do it.....But i have figured if i am not ready, I will just be a big, cut, limber, chick that wasn't quite ready to be on stage...not to bad of a side effect eh? now if i can just keep that thought theory....

I don't have heavy enuf weights at home (yet) so i have to keep a lot of the heavy stuff at the gym. However, I am stretching and working on the "fitness" routine at home...I have a long way to go.

Well, not my best day, really down today, depressed! dispite it all, i kept my numbers ok, higher than i wanted an not as clean but they were in the range. (mom decided to make a "thanksgiving dinner" yes including pumpkin pie - not real clean)
I have a stiff wrist (ok crack the jokes...) I think i'll ice it tonight, hopfully it's just the day. Tomorrow i can hit the weights and hopefully the spirits!
My kids are always great and help with the S.A.D. but then i feel down because i don't play with them as much when i am this way......
til tomorrow!

It was funny though. I found my focus got messed up a bit cuz the only ones that were in the gym were KIDS! (damn i'mm old!) and they were clueless!!! I wanted so bad to go to each and everyone of them and correct their form or giving them a different weight or something....

That's the right after work crowd at mine. I know exactly what you mean. This morning I was in the cardio theater and I could see a woman out doing cable exercises. She was swinging her arm and really just going through the motions. I wanted to run out and tell her to up the weight a little, slow it down, and feel the exercise. But I stuck to my run instead. :)

ok so, i was working on the OCT/NOV comp, well its in 8 weeks or so and there ain't no way i am big enuf for it or mentally prepared for it. SO.... heading for the March/April comps.
I have had a lot to do around the house. a lot of things needed repair to say nothing of the fact getting it back up to where it was before we both stopped caring because of the other. And got a bit tired of being on bb.com and then having people write letters to MY friends and tell them how wonderful my STBE is and how awful I am. or YOU guys having to protect me on here and get rid of the riff raff, again thanks rich!....yes, this is public domain but it is my journal. Hopefully someday these people will get a life and move on, me, I love it here, it is my passion and if i can put up with these "pests" a bit longer, then hopefully they will find something else to do with their spare time.
My journal is where i post workouts, thoughts feelings etc related to working out as well as "play" with my friends.... and it had become a serious Drama downer place. soooo
I have most my stuff done here, just have to finish the basement and get the weights lined up. set up my NEW plan/routine/diet and then here i go again alone.......

115X10 again easy but i summond a spotter for the lift off...geez I forgot Goat doesn't treat me like a little girl. my spotter was nice but he was all. you can do it, keep it up etc....then good job, Hell if goat was there I could have started at 135 and only gone UP!!!!! damn goats!!!!!!!!!

I have 7 months I should be able to pack on some size by then, slow and steady then i can maintain it when cutting.
Well, here it is....Starting Tues (kiddos b-day Monday and a holiday)
Chest/tris/abs
Back/Bis
Legs/Shoulders
Stretch/abs
Fitness routine
Clean up day (whatever i missed or if i need to work on something may add an aditional chest day depends on picts)
I will have to do legs on wed or thurs cuz i just don't have enuf weight at home.
Reps will be 3-6 (EXPECT some big numbers)with emphasis on the 3 rep range for the first month especially week of premenstral (TMI guys I know but you are in "female bodybuilding" )
Reps will increase to 8-10 postmenstral due to chemical balance changes
I will be getting a bit of cardio with fitness routine but most of it is explosive/Power moves not made for weight reduction. I may have to adjust food for these days.

Wow you continue to impress me with those numbers. I think the plan you laid out is a good one. The routine will present the biggest challenge. You have no shortage of muscle and you know how to come to the stage in incredible condition. If you just maintain your core level of strength I think you will be fine. I might recommend (from a position of total ignorance but logical reasoning) that you incorporate as many body weight+ exercises into your training as possible to simulate the strength moves of your routine including plyometrics for explosive strength.

Plyometrics is "easy" to come up with for legs... how to get the upper body??? I thought about maybe a handstand snap down repeat til dead...lol I can do front and back hand springs and get the weighted "snap" but that is as far as i got....
my daughters gymnastics place has an "open gym" night on fridays they will LOVE to see some OLD lady out on the floor with them LMMFAO!!!!! :D

best bet is to just get a small cooler and pack foods you can eat cold. like chiken, raw veggies (I've eaten rice and baked sweet potatos cold)

Its not so much what i eat (well, this weekend was NOT a good example) I just don't expend the same amount of calories on the weekend as workout days so i am not sure if i want to eat the same. I want the bulk but not additional fat. Even with "good" food, if you don't use it, you store it.

I love being in a cage, but it was different, someone working next to me, but why should that matter? different bar, just lost the "feel"...... argggggggggggggggggggg
I Love squats so i wasn't going to give up...I walked back in, stripped of my ego and pride and put on 95lbs, then 125, then 145 got it, left and did hacks.....
So, figuring weight on hack it occured to me, I forgot to calculate the weight of the bar in my first lift, so i was actually squating 225!!!! geez a Polish moment?, blonde moment?, monday? well, i guess i just found my 1 rep max!!! LMAO!!!!

It is noticable, I can lift much heavier than i could last year preping for the figure comp. A lot of **** has happened since but i am still determined..... anyone know a good welder???
