Ok, my understanding of a refeed was to drop protein to 1g/lb of bw, eat as little fat as possible (no added fats), and jack up your carbs (good carbs not junk).

....but yet when i see examples of people's refeeds (on contest journals), their protein is high, their fat is still pretty high and their carbs are moderate, what's up??

this is what ive been doing:

4 days a week (weights and cardio) my macros are 245p, 120c, 50f
2 days a week (cardio only) my macros are 245p, 70c, 50f
*1 day a week, (weights and cardio, weakest bodypart) my refeed has been, 160p, 300-340c, as close to zero fat as possible

i think alot of people confuse refeed days with cheat days

thats where the macro mix up happens

a good refeed should drop the protein a bit and raise the carbs while keeping fats down

is your refeed day on your off day?

because you need to take advantage of those carbs and train your weakest bodypart on your refeeds and the day after as your GI is still high, and the day be4 a refeed you can train your strongest bodypart

on my refeed I lift and do cardio and yes it is my weakest bodypart

bump for some more opinions

if a normal day of carbs is 120, is refeeding with 300 overkill?

If you are still making progress then all should be good.
