First, I want to start off by saying that I am more of a runner than anything else, but frequent the site because I do some light weight training and found many supplements that benefit both activities. I chose this product because I am familiar with the Animal line and it's comprehensive approach to weight loss. I am on a restricted calorie diet as well and am somewhere around a 50/30/20 ratio of protein/carbs/fats.

I started Animal Cuts three days ago and will hopefully be keeping this updated in my quest to cut enough body fat to get my abs to show through.

First three days on I have had a few days to evaluate the product so far. I lost around 3 pounds of water weight within 24-48 hours. I also have noticed that this product does not make me as jittery as some other thermogenics that I have used in the past. I will say it has provided me with a ton of energy and I actually find it kind of hard to sleep on even though I take my second dose a minimum of 8 hours before bed. I have had a few crazy dreams these first few days as well, not sure why. I just took a PT test for the military and while I did notice some effects of dehydration I did pretty well for taking it in 90+ degree weather at the end of my duty day and after a leg routine that left me sore as **** from the day before. Not to mention I am working off of a calorie deficit. I was right at 250 out of 300 but attribute a majority of that from my sore ass legs and not the product.

Since I have been cutting calories hunger had started to become a slight issue, but since on the Cuts I have noticed that my hunger is slightly down. So far I am down a total of 4 pounds in 3 days and my abdomen has tightened up a little most likely from loosing the water in that area that I was holding.

Ratings to date

Energy and focus: 10/10
Ease to take: 8/10 (I like only taking it twice a day and the carry pak, but it's a lot of pills)
Delivering as promised: 10/10 (Time will tell, but so far I have shed excess water, have loads of energy, and a suppressed appetite)

Morning of day 4:

Had to force myself to sleep earlier. I managed to get a little under 5 hours of sleep. Woke up feeling great again and popped my first Animal Cuts pack as I was getting out of bed. Still pretty sore from doing PT, but better. Pissed a lot before I fell asleep last night even after over 8 hours of taking my last pak. Once again had some crazy dreams.

End of day 4:

I took my second pak about 4 hours ago. I am starting to wear down now. I hope this means I will get a full days sleep. I seriously need it for my legs to recover. Still nothing really negative to mention besides not being able to sleep the past 2 days really. I did some upper body weight training today as well, so I think that is contributing to the crash that appears to be inevitable as soon as I get off shift here in a few hour.

Day 5:

Haven't weighed in today, but still slept only around 4-5 hours last night. The appetite suppressing abilities have really been kicking in and I have no problem cutting out excess calories. Still no problems with being jittery or elevated heart rate. So far I have to rate this as one of the best weight loss aids that I have tried out of hydroxycut hardcore (crap), stacker 3 (jittery crap), Original Hydroxycut (pretty damn good), Man Vaporize or Scorch (the one with the fatty oils), and Gaspari Thyrotabs (Body didnt like this one stopped taking after a few days). I have noticed my abs are firming up. A combination of my weight loss in the past few weeks and the diuretics in animal cuts.

So far so good, just wish I could sleep more.

EDIT: I managed to take about an hour nap after work before my buddies came and got me for the gym. I was down about another 1/2 pound to pound when I weighed before I drank a lot of water. Also, I had a great chest and back workout. The animal cuts did not seem to hinder me in any way at all in the gym. If anything I was more alert and focused.

Day 7:

I am about half way through day 7. I almost can't even tell I am taking cuts anymore except that my energy level has still been much higher. Still no jitters and dehydration is not an issue. Also, hunger still has not been much of an issue, but I did eat a larger meal earlier today. Just really needed some extra calories after my workout. I am still hanging right around the same weight, but I am trying to lift heavier than I normally do so it is possible I am starting to add some muscle I guess. Stomach still appears to be making some progress and my veins in my arms are showing through a lot more. Not much else to report for now.

Day whatever, I lost count.

I had a complete 180 done to my sleep schedule twice in the past 48 hours due to work, but I kept taking the cuts at the same time because I knew it was just a one day thing and then I would get flopped back to my normal night shift. It didn't seem to bother me too much and I think I could actually fall asleep after taking them. I think this is due more to the fact that they kept me up for way too long each day over the past week. My energy levels are down some, but I have had lots of changes and am working out harder in the gym than I was before. I did up my calories though and I at least feel better in that regard. Still shooting for anywhere from 100-400 calories below my maintenance not including the extra exercise. The main thing that I still notice is that it definitely keeps the water weight off. I still pee like crazy even without drinking a ton of water. I do manage to stay hydrated though.

I am still liking the product and did my first body fat measurement doing a 4-point tape test and came up at 16.1%. I will do this again in a week and see if I have any improvements. I would like to end this cycle at 15% or below.

hmm strange that you're not sleeping very well, I never had that problem when I was taking them.

Nice one for dropping that weight though buddy, keep up the good work.

DAY 9 or 10:

Sorry, I was wanting to do a much better log.

My sleep has gotten much better. I actually took it and went to sleep yesterday because my shift has still been flip flopping but want to keep taking the cuts on my permanent schedule. Kinda dumb, but I will forget to take it otherwise. I have been staying solid at around 157-158lbs., but I have boosted my calories up around 300-500 to get in more carbs. I started working out with a soldier of mine who is into weight training and lifting a lot heavier than I normally do. Still trying to do cardio daily as well.

While my weight loss has stopped since the first 3 days or so, I am actually pretty happy so far. I do believe I am loosing fat still because I noticed my stomach is still firming up and my arms are a little fuller from the lifting. I am going to split my workouts up from here on out though and do cardio separately that way I can really devote myself to each. I am also still pissing like a rocket but not noticing any dehydration so I think my water intake is right on target.

My reason to start lifting heavier was in part due to the fact that I could not imagine being under 150 pounds even if it was mostly muscle. I figured I would look to frail as I am not very muscular looking now. I also believe I could use some overall strength added to my body for other activities besides running or hiking.

Thanks! I am working on it. Trying to surprise my wife for when I take leave at the end of the month.

Sleep has normalized. I think my body has adjusted to the stims. I am up about a pound but I did increase my calories a few days back in hopes of putting on some lean muscle as well and to avoid the lethargy that I was feeling. I have gotten stronger so I believe I am putting a little muscle on.

My upper abs have gotten more defined since I started and I will tape myself again in a few days. If my BF% has increased any I will probably just up my cardio a bit instead of reducing calories back down again. I need to work on my run times a little more anyway. I am almost positive that I am loosing bodyfat though. The appetite suppressing feeling has diminished somewhat which is another reason I have probably felt the need to up my calories.

My diet is pretty spot on though. I have only been eating lean meats, vegetables, fruits, and a small amount of rice and pasta. I have gotten a few comments in the last week or so from people that have noticed that I have lost weight. I am sitting at around -15 pounds since I started taking my diet and workouts more seriously again though. I definitely am starting to feel a lot better again.

Animal Cuts was an excellent choice. You keep working hard and eating clean Cuts will do its thing. Stay with it bro. Glad to see your workin hard!
