Just a note - keep in mind that the oral dose didn't have anywhere near the same effect.

Plus the pharmacokinetics and metabolism of EGCG varies through various dosing ranges as well. There is an oral threshold amount of around 400mg that needs to be exceeded since lower than that is subject to clearance and isn't particularly effective at elevating plasma levels.

Effect of EGCG on food intake
We found that EGCG-treated Sprague Dawley male (Fig. 7Go, A and B) and female (Fig. 7CGo) rats consumed about 50?60% less food than control rats. Similar effects of EGCG on food intake were observed with obese male Zucker rats (Fig. 7DGo). Therefore, body weight loss was due to reduced intake of food. As food restriction can alter hypothalamic function and decrease the level of LH and sex steroids (16, 17), we restricted the food intake of Sprague Dawley male rats (not injected with EGCG) by about 50% for 7 days and found that the blood level of testosterone was indeed reduced by about 60% and ventral prostate weight was decreased by about 50% compared with those in animals given free access to food (Table 3Go). Serum leptin, IGF-I, insulin, LH, and GH were also decreased after food restriction. Administration of androgen to male Sprague Dawley rats was not able to prevent the EGCG-induced food intake reduction (Fig. 7EGo). These effects of EGCG, administered ip, were diminished or absent when EGCG was administered orally (Table 3Go).

Seems like there's a case being made for EGCg as a appetite suppressant. But, as you said, the dose is insane. I figured that, for a 175 Lb. person, they would need to drink 410 cups of green tea per day to reproduce the effect - and that's assuming that all of the EGCg would make it from the gut to the bloodstream.

Or I suppose you could just take 33 grams of NOW EGCg powder, mix it with whatever and inject yourself.
