So up until now i've just been sticking to eating small, carb-loaded meals before the gym, but i wanna try a pre workout shake. what are you guys' recipes for this?

i usually have 1 scoop whey (23g) protein
1 scoop waximaize (40g) carbs
1/2 tablesppon almond butter

i'll look into getting some waximise. I ended up going with...
10ish oz of water
1 banana (under 40g carbs)
1/4c oats (not sure about amount of carbs)
2 scoops EAS protein (bought this in bulk for pre-workout use) (27g protein)
its a little watery, so maybe less water, or some PB next time

2 scoops Sun Warrior Protein
if need fats, add avocado, coconut oil or flax.

Using milk instead of water really helps make the shake thicker.
You could try other milk alternatives aswell, but there's something in milk that really improves the taste. Try it out!
