Hey Everybody!

I just registered and am very excited to be exchanging knowledge with people that are interested in the same thing I am. This is my first time in a chat so bear with me I am 24 and have been interested in bodybuilding for years, unfortunately I have never been able to stick with it consistently, mostly due to being in University. I am now working a full time job and finally have a consistant schedule and really would love to get into the shape that i have always wanted to be in (which is ripped of course)

I am 5'7"
130lbs. approx.
25% body fat (yuck! way to high)

I am considered a tall thin person, I don't have a lot of muscle mass so I am what I call myself a skinny-fat person. I appear thin but as you can see, have to much bodyfat.

My goal is to get down to 15% body fat and increase muscle tone.

There are a million things I would like to ask but the biggest concern of mine right now is what to pack for lunches?!

I work full time so I have to pack a lunch but we do have a fridge and microwave at work. Right now I am making turkey and tuna sandwhiches on whole wheat bread. I want to include complex carbs but I don't want to eat any wheat, for example, bread or pasta but I don't know what else to bring that is quick and doesn't take an hour to prepare. Does anybody have any suggestions? Or some examples of what they bring to work for lunch?

Much appreciated!

I spend Sunday's preparing my meals for the week ahead.
1. Crockpot skinless, boneless chicken breasts with seasonsing and then cut into 3oz portion sizes, freeze in baggies.
2. Chop, dice, whatever salad fixings (mushrooms, radishes, sugar snaps, bell peppers, zucchini, etc) and put in plastic containers.
3. Tuna salad -- 4 oz can of tuna mixed with fat free mayo or plain yogurt with pickles and mustard.
4. Brown rice mixed with onions and garlic.
5. Yogurt and protein powder.
6. Fiber One Cereal with Isopure Vanilla Zerocarb for milk base.
7. Egg Muffins (6 egg whites, .5 C each of nonfat cottage cheese, oatmeal, nonfat cheese) -- blenderize and bake in muffin tins.
8. Crack about 120 eggs and give the yolks to the neighborhood dogs!
I couldn't live without the little plastic .5 C and 1 C containers -- everything gets mixed up and portioned out into these for the week!

Like everyone else I prepare my meals on Sundays and take 5-6 meals to work with me a day. These are some of the items that I indlude in mine:

Frozen Veggies
Fruits
Yogurt
Bonless, Skinless Chicken Breast
Whole Wheat Tortillas
Salads
Protein Bars

My favorite lunch is a chicken breast cut into strips. Tomato, slice of non- fat cheese, and a tablespoon low fat dressing wrapped up in a huge lettuce leaf. I LOVE romaine lettuce because it is super crisp and they are big leafs!

I also love Canned tomatoes, diced chicken, and green beans cooked together. The beans act sort of like pasta! I like to cook them until they are just a little crunchy!

I buy 5lbs bags of already cooked boneless, skinless chicken breast, make a salad slice up a pair of breast on top add the dressing when it is lunch time, quick and easy!

Hey I coined the phrase "Skinny-fat" a year or two ago back at Elite so give me some coin for that right! :)

First thing is first and that is get your diet straight. Then find a good weight training program afterwards. These two without any diet pills or anything should give you some nice results over a period of several weeks plus improvements in your health.
Ill give more details in future but these two are must.
