I just finished my first tub (Small one) of Xtend. I noticed my weight go up....I still "feel" like I'm losing weight though. It's only been a couple lbs and I've checked it consistently so I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with periods, bloating, etc. I had heard Xtend takes a couple weeks to kick in. So I'm wondering if the change is due to me gaining muscle and/or if it has to do with the Xtend. Either way I'm going to keep taking it since it taste AWESOME! and I have noticed I'm not as sore....soooo yeah. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

i've never heard it make people "gain" weight. I never worry about actual lb numbers, if you are looking better and feel better, that's all that really matters

I've used Xtend before, finished the whole tub. Changed to Purple Wraath & am using Xtend again & sometimes the purple wraath. I've never gained weight from either one of em.

Xtend doesn't really take a couple weeks to kick in...the point of taking it is so that the aminos hit your blood stream right away.

I would look at whether you're actually in a caloric deficit (by using fitday...or tracking calories burned by using a HR monitor or bodybug).

Xtend won't make you gain if calories out > calories in :)

Just a thought/question...

Is it at all possible that those couple of pounds are muscle? I've never used Xtend (using AXcell) but considering what Xtend is supposed to do for you during your workout...have your workouts become more intense? lifting heavier? more sets?

Just a thought.

Hmm not sure, probably. I actually slowly started losing again, its only be 1-2 lbs but I started lifting heavier lately too and seeing some gains :) At this point in time I'm under 2 wks away from getting home so once I get home and actually choose how to cook food, we'll see how that goes, lol. Thank you for your reply!
