I just started working with a great trainer and my nutrition plan has me eating 5 meals/daily. How long does it take to get used to making yourself eat what feels like so much food every 3-4 hours??? Even though it's only been 5 days in I do feel less "bogged" down - my diet before sucked - fast food dominated but WOW now eating clean sure has made me feel better but sometimes I feel like as soon as I'm done it's time to eat again!

It does take a few weeks to get used to it. I found that after I started eating every few hours, I would get really hungry if I tried to skip a meal. Your body will eventually want the food.

You'll get used to the volume. When you were eating fast food, it was very calorie-dense and had little nutritional value. 'Clean' foods simply tend to be less dense calorically so there is more to eat. One day you will see that as a good thing, as you will appreciate getting a good volume of food!

I can diet on the same calories as someone without nutritional knowledge, and for every little baggie of 100 calorie crappy cookies they eat, I can get a scoop of Isolate, or 4 oz of tilapia, which goes a lot farther.

You'll get used to it pretty quickly as your metabolism gets fired up. Then you'll be counting minutes until your next meal. :)
