Well as the title says I came across this site and really liked all of the information so here I am. I've been working out for years, mostly on and off. For the past year I've been doing quite good except for the occasional lack of facilities and I finally am getting settled in to a new home and revamping my exercise routine.

I'm currently at about 17% body fat, down from 25% a year ago and my goal is 15% or lower depending on how my body does.

Another goal of mine is to be able to lift my sport bike (I am setting up my cbr600 for racing right now). It really annoys me when I drop the bike and have to wait for someone to help me pick it up.

Are there any female personal trainers out there? I'm thinking of getting certified and would love any comments about it from a female perspective. I'm not a gym rat by any stretch of the imagination but I am fit, would I have trouble getting clients given that I don't have a body builder's body?

Welcome :) I'm new myself.
Well, my sister wants to be a personal trainer as well, so she did all of the reasearch.
To be able to be a trainer, you have to take a weekend course that teaches you the ropes. You have to know first AID etc...
And basically, if you think you're good with people and a good teacher, don't stop a goal. I'd go for it - it can get you some good money.
3/4 of the personal trainers at my gym are female, so get right into it!

And as for being able to lift your bike, you have to put in a bit of strength training. That can be three rounds of 2 - 3 muscle groups a day for 3 - 4 days a week. Eat high protein meals (65% of your diet), as 75% of muscle building comes from diet.
I hope that helps :)
