Pretty insane he is a tall guy also like 6'7 long arms. It was done this year also, not bad for someone who doesn't train for big bench ext. Also if he worked on form a bit and focused bench I'm sure he could be a 700+ bencher.

A lot of throwers have what looks like weird technique but they still have the basics. I'm sure he has tried going lower but hasn't worked for him, his technique works for him and he is top shot putter in the world right now.

he lowered it slow at the start then quarter of the way down he just let gravity take over but still hes twice as strong as me

He's not the top, but i agree getting low doesn't work for everybody. Getting low never really works for me either.

He has farthest throw this year and his PB is better then any current pro shot putter. So I don't know who would be more of a favorite in any competetion then him.
