I'm still very much in a cutting phase(chunky thighs, lol) and I dont drop below 1500cals a day but I think I need to raise them a bit from time to time to trick my metabolism. How many cals per meal do you allow yourself?? I know answers will be different because of height/weight etc...also is your last meal high in cals because I usually drink a shake(240cals/46grams protein) and for some reason at night drinking a shake KILLS my stomach...

also one more question, when do you stop drinking water at the end of your day...I aim for 8pm or i'll be up peeing all night, lol and any later my abs aren't as tight in the am?!!!

My meals usually fall around 300 cals per. Except for my evening shake, which is a lower cal/low carb one (120 cals). I personally, wouldn't consume something so calorie dense right before bed. I usually have a cheat day/meal per week to boost metabolism....but if I was trying to cut, based on how I looked, I would go clean cheat---just more carb calories, or no cheat for a couple weeks.

I also try to taper off water by 7pm or so---or just have a cup of decaf green tea.

Why taper off the water at 7:00?

Ever tried a non-whey based protein, to avoid "killing" your stomach? My wife has the same issue, and she switched to ORYX, which is based on goat milk, not cow milk, so the lactose intolerance issue isnt an issue.

And it tastes good enough for me to use to, if I run out of my muscle-milk!
