I keep hearing biking is a very good cardio work out but I hardly burn any sweat while biking (except on my hands).

Does biking really burn lots of calories and is it as good for the hurt as they say?

I don't see cycling as cardio unless you are really pushing yourself. Just my opinion.

Silly. Can you get your heart rate to 120-130 bpm on a bike? Yes. Then, it is cardio.

x2 to the above.

If I ride outside I don't tend to sweat much on a bike, as the breeze cools me down. Once I get off I start dripping though.

A year ago I had to cycle an hour+ a day to/from uni 5 days a week, at pace (95% of the time I was late, and I really enjoy trying to race cars). Put me in brilliant CV shape.
