When trying to lose fat how much should coffee bet limited to? I have about 8-16oz two times a week..and I was wondering if that too much. (With non-fat milk and sugar substitution).
Sorry new to this sight and I need some help on all those little extra thing I sneak in my diet. :(

That should be fine, as long as it fits into your total calorie intake for the day. Having your coffee and maintaining your sanity while trying to lose weight will more than offset any extra calories, which since you're already using non-fat milk and a sugar substitute will be minimal anyway. If you're really concerned, you could always try drinking it black to reduce calories to almost zero. Brewing it a bit weaker can help you get used to drinking it black.
About the only thing I can think of to caution you about is if you're taking a fat burner or other stimulant. If the extra caffeine becomes an issue, switch to decaf.

I drink 2-4 cups per day with 1% milk and no sugar or substitute.

Coffee will do nothing but help you when you're trying to lose fat. I wouldn't even think about trying to diet without it.

Dr. Mehmet OZ (you know, the doctor that's always on Oprah and author of YOU: The Owner's Manual) says 3 cups a day (24 oz.) is safe and even beneficial. That's usually the amount I go by.

How sad to pollute your coffee with milk and sweetners. LOL
I drink straight black coffee all day long. I love the taste and it keeps me semi-amped. Drink as much as you can tolerate, just beware of the added calories.

I drink coffee daily. just black without anything added. the only real problem with coffee seems to be added calories- such as milk, sugar, etc

agree with all of these! ... i drink it daily also....black... i had trouble drinking it black at first it was too bitter but i found if you get a nice little starbucks cup or some kind of paper cup like you would get if you got your coffee out somewhere and sip it with a little straw you hardly notice! ...one b/c you are kindof tricked into thinking you got this great starbucks coffee and two you are just sipping on it so you dont get blasted with the bitter taste....i drink it straight black everyday now and love it!

you could add stevia and/or light soymilk if you can't tolerate straight coffee, just count the calories

I add vanilla almond milk to my coffee instead of milk. Saves calories and tastes yummy!

I drink mine three times daily and with whole milk. I factor in the calories of course, and they aren't much:)

You should be able to lose weight and keep coffee in your life. I use Splenda and lite vanilla soy milk. 1/2 cup of lite soymilk is only 40 calories, has the same amount of calcium of milk, but more omega-3s, vitamin D and no cholesterol nor fat. Just make sure to include the calories from your coffee/milk/creamer/etc in your daily intake. Just avoid coffee beverages like macchiatos and frappuccinos and you'll be fine. Straight coffee from beans or grounds won't pack on any pounds.

Also is very yummy mixed with Protein and Ice after a good workout. Or with Decaf at night before bed. Hot or cold!! YUMMY!!! I like it with cookies and creme casein! My new addiction! hahahaha drink a cold one after the gym in the shower every morning. Never give up coffee! Just give up some of the crap we add to it! black is better cold! IMO. :)
