I was browsing and found this one earlier. Thought it was pretty cool.
According to a study by Weber Shandwick Worldwide as little as one glass of low fat milk a day decreases the odds of poor kidney function (which is linked to heart disease) by 37%. (Compared to people who drank very little to no low fat milk a day)

This is the first post I've seen giving milk some love. Almost anything I read on the internet act like milk is akin to the antichrist.
Not to highjack the thread, but does milk actually have any negative side effects if your not lactose intolerant?

Only negative side affect I can think of is that its pretty costly :(
But seriously, too much milk could make you feel sick to your stomach. That's the only thing I can think of.

I was just wondering if there was any relevance to all those posts stating that milk is unhealthy for the human body, and humans weren't meant to drink cow's milk etc.
I've read websites that have stated that milk is impossible for the body to digest properly, and siting such evidence as lactose intolerance and the fact that we are the only mammals that consume milk past infancy.
^ just wondering about relevance not stating it as a fact.

It has a lot of sugar. That's the main reason bb'rs don't like it.

Milk has a lot of sugar?
Oh well.
I drink 24 ounces of skim milk with 2 protein shakes a day.
530 cals a day x 2, sure it takes up most of my allowed intake, and I would love to eat 2 more PB sandwiches and some oats instead, but I need that calcium and nutrients in it.
Got milk brah?

Hey guys, here's another pretty cool study that refers to milk as possibly being "the new sports drink."

I read the article on milk on the bb.com supersite, and it made me love it so much.
Milk, according to the article is the body building drink.

I did too... stop for a week, and then keep drinking it, and you'll be fine. My room smelt like lemmywinks for a week when I started drinking intense milks.
Can there be a calcium build up/kidney stone if you drink 48 ounces of milk a day?

recently the relationship between kidney stones and calcium has been broken. Make sure to drink alot of water and watch out for processed food.

First thing you drank in your birthday suit was milk.
A glass a milk a day as an adult should be enough.
Too bad we cannot find good milk here in NA. Back in in the old country we used to milk it straight from the cattle animal and boil it before drinking it.
