He wants Cung Le because he knows he's a big name in another org that would lose badly in the UFC against the best MWs.

Cung Le made $200k+ with his fight against Shamrock. I don't see why he would leave that unless the UFC is paying more.

Cung Le will never leave Strikeforce. He wants to remain a big fish in a small pond. But I do think that pond is starting to get too crowded especially with Lawler coming in.

i loled when they were interviewing cung le, when his name came out on the screen. under his name, it said "actor" and not "mma fighter". that was just funny to me cuz hes more know as a mma fighter/kick boxer and titled him actor. probably a way so people wont google his name and start watching strikeforce shows.

Cung Le's best win was over Frank Shamrock who got completely mauled by Nick Diaz, a mid-level UFCer.

Cung is good but essentially untested. Who else has he beaten of note?

I dont think he was saying that Le would be a champion in the UFC, he was just saying that stating that anyone in the UFC could beat Cung Le badly is ridiculous.

The only concern I have is his injuries and focus on other projects. There is a chance he missed his prime. He's not a spring chicken.

I said the exact same thing. A few people I was watching the fights with don't really follow MMA, and when I saw that I said "haha ACTOR! That's great!" And everyone was like...whats the big deal?

Yeah I was surprised they brought in a fighter from another org and then realized why they labeled him as actor. UFC is mastermind of marketing, they know how to not market fighters from outside orgs.

Not everyone sees the post fight conference, and Fedor is always brought up.

I think Chaning Tatum would have a good chance at beating Anderson. His takedowns are world class...
