Okay i competed this past saturday.. i have literally ballooned up!! I did not eat like nuts, because i slept for 24 hours straight after the show lol.
After the show I ate maybe 6 mini airheads, went to a diner, had a steak sandwhich, then brought home chicken fingers and fries for lunch the next day.
Easter I had that for lunch, some ham for dinner, literally that was it for dinner. I had a peice of cake that day, and a bowl of oreo ice cream that night.
Monday I ate alright, not seriously dirty, but not clean. Tuesday I 50/50.. I had a hoogie for lunch instead of my typical.
Wednesday and today I have been eating my typical bulking diet, lots of rice, taco meat, etc. Nothing crazy.. as i didnt want to jack cals up way to high.
my stomach went from a shredded 6 pack.. to a bloated mess with not 1 line. Do I just have some serious rebound bloat froom being so dry from a little diuretics (The ones that came with mitotropin), and all?
Or did I pack on a redic amount of bodyfat in those 3 days? Im not scared, just really shocked to say the least lol.

Were you on a low carb diet? It will take some time for your body to balance back out, most of it is probably water weight.

Wow,..you seem to be very sensitive to off diet foods,...I went from competing April 4th on a very limited clean diet to after the show a meatball sub, beer, 4 bowls of peanut butter crunch in 2% milk,..cake during the eve. comparison posedown and basically the same Sunday! Then Easter I ate my last binge,..Today I am only 3lbs. over competiton weight,..hehe,...fast metabolism?
I wouldnt worry too much,..It wont be fat,..clean your diet up for a cpl. days and you should be fine.

Super duper low carb to no carb diet towards the end, because I wasn't progessing right until I hired a trainer, and my body type requires low carbs to burn fat.

O yea, for sure. 1 meal off diet would rape my physique for days, and that was just 1 meal. This was a few. My trainer always said my stomach held the most water by far, because everyday it was a surprise for him as to how it would look. Right now, I have one big jiggly sheet covering my abs with not 1 visible ab. It doesnt even look like fat lol. its werid looking, its between the muscle and skin for sure, not behind the muscle.. so its not a bloated stomach apperance.

did you mess with your sodium levels and water intake? if that's the case, going from that to eating out and fatty foods will TOTALLY water log you, very common, I have abs at 20% BF, I remember 3 days after my 1st show in 07 I hit a side chest in the mirror, had totally striated chest, big veins, shoulder separation, and yet I had NO abs....
mostly water buddy, just start getting it under control, and slowly diet out of the diet

Since Mike has mentioned it a few times it is not like I am talking out of turn. But the fact that anabolics/diuretics and other "supplements" were used makes a HUGE difference in post contest conditioning
Unless you are looking to do another show, dont even worry about it bro. It is just normal rebound when one is "enhanced"

Tthanks bro! I wasn't really worried, i was more so just shocked by the drastic difference in my appearance in such a short period of time!

Probably just water from all the trauma you just put your body through with the binging. :D

This happened to me after my show, took about a week before I saw my six pack again lol I did a couple cardio sessions drank a lot of water and pissed out that excess bloat. Like people have mentioned its mostly just water weight that will be there for about a week. I think the week after the show was the most demanding time cuz I was so depressed on not being in like amazing shape anymore.

Same here, I use to "binge" post contest and I've taken up to 10lbs within 5 days and I never mess with my sodium. One of my friend took 12 lbs in 2 days ( ture !) water retention he was sooo swollen. ( he messed with sodium though and had normal junk slated food afetrwards)
In the past three years I've just allowed myself three "off" moderate meals ( one pizza counts as a meal and pizza size here are probably half the size of pizza in the US) after show then back on a "diet" adding calories slightly ( 150-200 a week, maily carbs). i've put on so much lean mass, felt so much better. it's hard though 'cuz of the cravings but so worth it to take advantage of the anabolic state of the body after a pre contest diet.Thta's MHO

I too suspect its just a bloat from the sodium and food that you have consumed. Or it may be that you have not digested fully the food you have consumed and had yet to pass them out. Take it some time and your abs will be back as long as you work out and metabolism is still high.

I really didnt cheat all to bad, maybe half of what I actually thought I would. By wednesday, I was back to training and my diet 80%.

Damn! I wish, maybe next show:(. My trainer told me its rebound bloat from diuretics, butt i wasnt satisfied with just one opinion lol.. althtough i should be since he never steered me wrong!

Most likely just water. My first competition I dropped water and cut sodium and weighted in at 172, By Sunday night after guzzling water and binging a little bit I was 191. Almost 20 lbs in just over 24 hrs. After I got back on my diet for the next week or so I was back to 175. Just give it some time. Congrats again too.

Almost 20 lbs in just over 24 hrs. After I got back on my diet for the next week or so I was back to 175. Just give it some time. Congrats again too.

I did scivations cut diet for 18 weeks and competed in my first show on saterday. I went absolutely nuts and binged for the entire next day after the show. By night time on sunday I gained 25 pounds. I have the same look to my stomach, just one big sheet of jiggly water belly with no definition. it feels really soft Its really depressing to see it. But I am also bloated everywhere else. My ankles are huge and my face looks like a pillow. Great pumps and size in my upper body though.
I hope this goes away. Im back on my pre contest diet and drinking three gallons of water per day so I can pee this water weight out (i hope its mostly water weight).

Best of luck bro. It took my bloat a while to go down, def not 1 week. My body is just starting to feel 100%. Its been a month since my show but my face bloat took a while to go down.
Around 3 weeks post contest, people started asking me if I was dieting again since all my bloat was leaving lol.

I was so happy to find this discussion! I did a competition last Saturday and was at 108.5, I'm at 120 this morning! I did a little binging the first couple of days and then yesterday and today ate clean except for a few tastes of a couple of things. I can't see a dang line in my stomach and I could see all abs last Saturday. So frustrating...all that work and it appears gone. I'm hoping it's just water too, I feel fat and jiggly, so nasty. I'm having a hard time knowing exactly how many calories to go on now as I feel my metabolism slowed down a lot at the end b/c I was getting barely anything. I'm at 1300-1400 now, but feel like it's too much although technically it shouldn't be.
Anyway, glad to see other people wondering about this icky bloated stuff. Yuko.

dont worry man its mostly water...same thing happened to me 4 weeks ago after my comp...when crazy on Sunday and Monday morning i was 13 pounds heavier and looked like the Pillsbury dough boy lol..just as soft as well....took like a good week to two weeks to get rid of the water weight....and get my abs back lol
