I have gone to college for 3 years doing Graphics Design and have decided to make it my minor and switch over to Exercise Science as well as Attain the NASM personal training Certification.
I am still open to going to other schools though and seeing what are some good degrees out there that will support the PT Cert and make myself more credible.
Would physical thereapy, nursing, etc, be better than exercise science?

Physical therapy, athletic training, health science, exercise physiology, sports medicine are all nice looking degrees on a resume. In terms of sales I would put my money on ex phys simply because no one outside the health care professions know what it is and it sounds important :P

Do you plan on being a PT for the long haul? Lets say you have been a PT for a year or 2, and have just a couple consistent clients, and are barely making enough to pay your bills, if that. Will you stick it out and continue as a PT?
