Hey guys,
I'm 8 weeks out from my first show. I'm very nervous about my diet and getting a low bf %. I'm currently at 12.8% and am wondering what I should start doing in the next few weeks to really boost that and pump up fat loss. Any suggestions? I eat 1500-1800 cals a day with a 40/40/20 breakdown. somedays my protein is way higher than carbs, even without protein shakes.
Thanks

How can your diet be 40/40/20 and yet have higher PRO than CHO?

How structured is your diet?

40%carb, 40%-50%protein, 20% fats

I normally eat:

meal 1:
1/2 oats, scoop of whey, 4 egg whites, 2 slices turkey bacon
meal 2:
4 oz lean meat, 1 cup vegg, 1/2 sweet potatoes
meal 3:
1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1 tblspn Natty PB
meal 4:
4 oz turkey burger on whole wheat bun, lettuce
Meal 5:
Protein Shake, 1 tblspn Natty PB if my fats r low for day
Meal 6:
1 can tuna (6.5oz), 1 cup vegg

Thanks. I am still trying to post current pictures. The one of me at the gym is my most current
thanks!

From a females point of view- cut the carbs almost completely and the rest of the fat will come off.

Also, for females dairy is a bad idea, and most think fruit is a bad idea although I think throwing in a piece of fruit once and a while for sanity is ok, after a workout

Based on that pic, I can't see your lower body, but if you do anything drastic now, you'll come in stringy - you are fairly small from the waist up. :)

I can help you more if you show me some full body pics in the mandatory poses.

Today, just like yesterday, and like tomorrow,
I will make the most of my workout.
I will be intense, I will be committed, I will be focused.
Today, just like yesterday, and like tomorrow,
I will push my body to the limit,
I will embrace the hurt, I will embrace the pain.
Today, just like yesterday and like tomorrow,
I will lift heavier
I will get bigger
I will get stronger
