It depends on your conditioning and metabolism. I curremtly do not take in any carbs postworkout. Beverly told me that over 25 grams with my postworkout shake could hinder fat-loss.

I take in no more than 25 carbs post-workout during contest phase and its in the form of a replacement drink. I do my heavy workouts in the mornings and carb deplete by 2pm

THANKS I'AM AWARE OF BEVERLY'S DIETS AND I HAVE TALKED TO JAY ON THIS,HE SAYS AS LONG AS THERE COUNTED IN YOUR DAILY ALLOTMENT THEN IT'S FINE MEANING IF YOU EAT 265 GRMS A DAY THEN 110 GRMS SHOULD COME POST WORKOUT WHICH IS .5 GRMS PER POUND.AND THEY STILL SHOULD BE SIMPLE SUGERS.I ALWAYS LIKED BEVERLY'S DIETS AS THEY MAKE ALOT OF SENCE BUT ON REAL LOW CARBS MAKES ME REAL FLAT AND GIVES ME CRAMPS IN WEIRD PLACES LOWER THEN 200 A DAY AND I'AM DONE EVEN ON HIGH PROTEIN.WELL THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

I think keeping as much muscle as possible is more important than drastically loosing fat so why drop the carbs post workout and risk muscle wasting by not repenlishing gycolgen stores.
