Sore how?

Muscular pain, similar of that of weight lifting, yeah id still train. Go easy on drills that tax the sore area, ie if your sore from benching, take it easy with press ups in class.

Bruising pain, id still train, tell the guys you train with to watch that area. IE i had sore inside thigh from low kicks, when guys tried to pass my guard using elbows into that area, i let them pass. If it is sore legs, in sparring class ask to to boxing w/ takedowns rather than full mma.

Joint pain, id lay off. IE if you were enthusiastically armbarred id lay off until i had 100% pain free movement again.

You can sometimes work around injuries, just try not to do the play through the pain thing as it could lead to a longer lay off or worsening injury.

Hope that helps!
