I am 4 months out from my first competition and am looking for any advice anyone can give me. I am going to be competing in the Phoenix AZ Natural bodybuilding comp. I have someone training with me who took first in his class and second overall last month and we start training tomorrow. Was wondering what kind of advice can be given regarding cardio and weight training. I have been instructed to do no cardio, and work out as heavy as I can for 6-10 reps on all excercises. I have also been giving a diet to adhere to, cutting out almost all sugars and carbs including fruits. I am not a big fish guy, does anyone have a routine they follow that doesn't involve fish, and what to eat for a snack? I weigh right now about 195 am 6'0 and 33 years old and am hoping to drop to 175-180, though my trainer told me I will prob drop more. What kinds of things can I expect to come out of this training as far as the diet goes, I hear it pretty much sucks, lol. Looking forward to getting some feedback and consulting with the forum during my training.
